2/ The ultra Brexiters spent the weekend moaning that it was not their fault that the vote went their way, that they do not have a plan and that if only other people did not have a view the world would be a better place 😱
3/ @Digbylj blames those who did not vote for Brexit because that is logical 🤤

4/ @KateHoeyMP hates the EU for threatening the U.K. even though by leaving without a deal WTO rules mean there will be a hard border in Ireland. @KateHoeyMP it is your lack of planning and knowledge that is the real threat

5/ @MarcusFysh has had a full Brexit lobotomy and so is no longer worth listening to - especially when he does not know that travelling 1 mile by car is cheaper than travelling 2 miles by car and this principle generally applies to trade

6/ @DouglasCarswell thinks he is a Bond villain. But really even though this is a negotiation he does not like negotiations that show up the weak hand the U.K. has.

10/ Oh and this because the Japanese are rightly furious that we encouraged their business to invest in the U.K. and we are going to cost them money. Looks like it will cost us too if we don't stay in the SM and a CU swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/15985959.…?amp=1
11/ Oh and don't forget about VAT too. That may influence business decisions too. Oopsie amp.ft.com/content/2eabef…
12/ Whichever you cut it Brexit will be bad. It is just a question of how bad

13/ That explains why the Irish quite rightly are planning to go round the UK. Why not, the UK GOV seems to give zero fucks about seriously safeguarding the GFA irishtimes.com/news/ireland/i…
14/ Meanwhile every day the GOV shows it is not anywhere near ready for the post Brexit world

15/ Meanwhile the Tory party squabbles and fights oblivious to the fact it is ruining the UK

16/ Meanwhile the Maybot tries to
leverage security cooperation for a better deal even though security cooperation to keep the U.K. safe should be unconditional given it is in the national interest politicshome.com/news/europe/eu…‘will-offer-keep-close-security-links-eu
17/ Imagine using the safety of your citizens as a bargaining chip. Turns out she hates her own people as much as foreigners
18/ And in arguing for staying in certain EU arranagements like the European Arrest Warrant once again the Maybot makes the case for the benefits of cooperation through the EU 🤦♂️
19/ And her thinking seems quite confused even though Brexit means Brexit and the will of the people cannot be challenged, it seems the people have got no clue as to what the Maybot is trying to achieve independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
20/ Apparently in 3 weeks the Maybot will set out her Brexit roadmap. But take your time because you triggered a 2 year clock a year ago, so there is no rush to explain you don't really understand what you are doing. We already know 😘amp.theguardian.com/politics/2018/…
21/ Luckily it turns out that stopping Brexit because the UK GOV has got the country into a hole is easy. You write 1 letter to the EU saying you have changed your mind

22/ But triggering article 50 engages EU law. How can we stop it?
23/ Well article 50 was designed to make clear each member state is sovereign. So it is a matter of national constitutional law to decide if you want to leave.
24/ And so if before the withdrawal date you decide under your own constitutional laws to change your mind, you can and the EU cannot stop it
25/ What legal support do you have that. Well only the former head of the EU legal service @piris_jc

27/ Which probably explains why the ultra Brexiters are frothing at the mouth. Not only is Brexit proving to be shit we can stop it any time before 29 March 2019. #Brexitopportunity

2/ That was one of the core arguments for leaving the EU and has been one of the core redlines set by @theresa_may in approach to the Brexit negotiations
3/ And what a monumental waste of time, energy and goodwill that redline has been. Why so? Surely it is great that EU citizens will have their rights guaranteed?
3/ The M20 is not a lorry park. It’s a vital transport artery. Currently work is being undertaken to strengthen the hard shoulder for 13 miles because it could be a lorry park come March
