A student of statistics — my son — was surprised by his regression analysis of gun ownership per capita in each nation versus homicides. There was just about no correlation between number of guns and number of gun homicides. gregpalast.com/florida-hondur…

I've just returned from the nation with the widest gun ownership in the world, Switzerland, which has vanishingly few homicides — although almost all men 18-35, due to ancient military tradition, must keep weapons in their home (many fully automatic). #ParklandShooting

My database expert went through #BrianKemp's #Georgia Purge List name by name and found:

1 Thousands who supposedly left the state but remain in Georgia
2 Thousands who moved from one end of town to another
3 Someone who moved from one apartment to another in the same building
#GeorgiaPurgeList: 108,000 of the names were on #KrisKobach's notorious #InterstateCrosscheck list — and only 2,000 of these purged #Crosscheck voters have left the state! gregpalast.com/gops-brian-kem…

Don’t assume you’re OK because you’ve not moved and have voted in the same place for years. States have been conducting deep purges, and many perfectly valid voter registrations have disappeared — often without notice. rollingstone.com/politics/polit…
For example, in #Georgia in 2017, GOP Secretary of State #BrianKemp removed 591,000 voters from the rolls—that’s 1 in 10 registrations in a single year!

Rather than face me in court, #Georgia Secretary of State #BrianKemp coughed up the first and last names and addresses of every one of the 591,000 voters he purged from the rolls in 2017. Notably, however, he left out the voter’s middle names. How curious. gregpalast.com/why-i-am-suing…

We have a massive non-count of votes in America. Over one million ballots nationwide — in any election — are never counted. They are disqualified for cockamamie technical reasons. gregpalast.com/have-you-check…

People worry about getting their vote stolen by a machine, so they mail it in. But you just went double or nothing with your vote, because that makes it easier for them. The number one way #KrisKobach won the #KansasPrimary was by disqualifying ballots that were mailed in.
