After reading this article (Please read it gives the timeline of this kid since 6th grade), Nik Cruz behavior raised flags since 6th grade to the teachers, kids, schools and the boards. That was at least 5 years ago!
2/ Due to lack of funding in our public schools, they do not have enough counselors & R ill equipped to help. They just kept moving him from school to school. This incident, unfortunately, ultimately is on the Parkland School District and any other local law enforcement agency.
3/ Rick Scott calling for the resignation of Wray is ridiculous (he started in August), and only falls into the Trump spin The FL FBI needs to resign. Wray came out immediately to tell public that the FBI mishandled the intel. which is a hell of alot more transparent, then Scott
4/ I know this is not PC but when I was growing up we had what was call "Special Ed" Back then everyone with a handicap went in. I disagree with the practice as a whole,
5/ but for kids that A) Can't learn the same way as their peers, and B) ARE VIOLENT, should not be in the regular classrooms. In the integrated classroom, both the disabled and the not lose. The disabled lose, because not enough time is spent to really assist them, and for the
6/ abled, get bored because things are going too slow. (Boredom is what leads to trouble). My 16 year old until HS, was disadvantaged in the integrated environment as she was slowed down by at least 1 child in every class.

in 2004, federal law leaves several questions unanswered, including three significant ones: How far must schools go? How important is potential academic achievement/social growth in making placement decisions? What are the rights of the other children?
#GunReform is a huge part of this incident, but we need to dig deeper, and it starts at home, then the schools (which don't have the $), then the mental health system (which don't have the $). What if the NRA and their politicians started putting money into schools/mental health

African nations that have borrowed from China, soon will be indebted to only them. Some countries have borrowed over 80% of their GDP. China has become the bag man of Africa.

In recent years, China's trade with the continent has reached more than $55 billion and continues to grow, with predictions that it will double by 2020, if not before.
China is now Africa's third-largest trading partner. But as its profile has grown on the continent, so have

According to an unpublished report by DHS IG report is the government’s first attempt to autopsy the chaos produced between May 5 and June 20, when President Trump abruptly halted the separations under mounting pressure.

Shell and Exxon's secret 1980s climate change warnings
Newly found documents from the 1980s show that fossil fuel companies privately predicted the global damage that would be caused by their products.
In the 1980s, oil companies like Exxon and Shell carried out internal assessments of the carbon dioxide released by fossil fuels, and forecast the planetary consequences of these emissions.
In 1982 Exxon predicted that by about 2060, CO2 levels would reach double the

preindustrial level – and that this would push the planet’s average temperatures up by about 2°C over then-current levels
In 1988, an internal report by Shell projected similar effects but also found that CO2 could double even earlier, by 2030. Privately, these companies did
