When @NeonaziWallets can run an automated feed showing the daily bitcoin activities of white supremacists, imagine what the Federal law enforcement & counterintelligence who have known about this for at least almost 6 months could do with their data.
As Eric knows, one of the things I went on & on about when initially forwarding the information is how easily they could mobilize an excess of supercomputing power to this end, even using existing, off-the-shelf technology.
Not that the @FBI & @NSAGov didn't have supercomputers.
I was going to go into this later, but it leads into something I call:
The Participatory Panopticon.
To begin:
420,000+ Hansa users *alone.* With 10 of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of #cryptocurrency accounts. Add other known #cryptocurrency accounts.
Each user & each account probably leads to other information.
When I say you can easily Google/Bing/Etc each bitcoin wallet:
All of that is *also* public information. Which leads to further connections. Add transactions.
& we're *starting* with hundreds of thousands of users.
Undoubtedly someone will do a mass public search - or *has* done a mass search - on all #cryptocurrency identifiers. It's hard evidence.
Remember what @20committee has told us about SIGINT often not being admissible for counterintelligence cases. & remember this was all not only admissible, but how much is public domain.
But that, too, can miss the larger picture.
And this full *part* of the Participatory Panopticon.
What happens when it's time to move in?
Of course, there is the larger #Mueller investigation, which is the clear priority.
But what about all the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of criminals swept up in this?
Clearly, a vast number simply go down.
But with regards to lesser charges:
Flip *everybody.*
Well perhaps not everyone. But you have #RICO conspiracies, tax evasion, drug charges, etc.
Once people are arrested, you can sift through their computers and reap more data.
But what happens in this day & age when a host of people become cooperating witnesses?
Depending on the criminal subcultures they're tied into, what else can they give you besides their testimony & relevant personal data?
Every smartphone and most cell phones are mobile transmitters capable not only of voice transmission but video.
Everyone of them is potentially a walking bug.
Does your witnesses meet up w/someone carrying a phone that's on? Perhaps programmed to *not* be identifiably so?
Do they call someone at your behest and make "normal" arrangements? Perhaps on speaker, perhaps not?
Is a phone recording video of a meeting as it sits there charging?
What's more, how far up the food chain do we flip people?
On the drug front, non-violent drug users leap to mind, but what about corner street dealers or higher up?
And yes, every addict ultimately gets mandatory rehab after we've gathered enough data from them.
But that's just drugs.
What happens if most of the online fraud and/or hacking subculture is taken down in the Western world except for informants?
The idea isn't just to take down a large amount of crime or fight back against it.
It's to so taint the entire underworld that *criminals* fear to interact with it in any way whatsoever.
And then they get caught regardless.
The unspoken coda is that yes, Russian intel is massively compromised from many, *many* directions w/flipped assets *everywhere.*
But also, we can put a ton of people away on other criminal charges while assessing what espionage-related crimes to charge them with.
Oh, &:
"Take the map & superimpose #FARA, #FinCEN, #DeutscheBank, #Cypriot banks, money laundering, Transition emails, misappropriated copyrights, flipped witnesses, #Kompromat reaped by #botnets, online logfiles of everything, warrant-seized evidence, media subversion."
cc: @FBI
And that "full" map represents one *entire* piece of The Participatory Panopticon.
You begin to see why I let it metastasize for 5+ years before bringing it to the attention of the @FBI in Sept 2017 or so.
You're welcome.
PS. Add #Darknet sites - seized or active, intelligence operatives, data sources like the al Qaeda donation/money-laundering records taken during the Bin Laden raid, deep-cover Russian spies under "re"-issued IDs exposed by a #BigData search to check for the preceding ID.
And if they really want quantum supercomputing, 3D chips, quantum-entanglement comms & other post-zetascale tech, they can let me know.
Until then, I guard my *non*-public-domain tech w/considerable paranoia until it is ready for release.😇
And so, once again:
You're Welcome.
Oh, and yes, clearly...
This Was Always The Plan.
Just a small part of a simple lad's, simple counterop.
We all do what we can.
😇
Or if you need a shorter summary:
The *entire* criminal underworld, including most remaining Russian-intel assets, become active informants - one way or another, knowingly or *unknowingly* - of law enforcement & counterintelligence for the US & her closest democratic allies.
Many are concerned w/the apparent subversion of tech & other industries, w/their unlimited access to our personal/financial/medical data being joined in turn to national intelligence agencies & organized crime.
Now to explain why this is the best thing possible.
Via analogy.
You can look at these various potential methods of control – whether legitimate industries, mass data-mining tied to propaganda, intelligence networks, organized crime, even governments – as individual rings.
Some interlocking, some not.
But what if someone wanted to control the whole thing?
They would want a *master* ring.
A single conspiracy using alliances, bribery, blackmail & other forms of subversion to unite every available power into one force at their command.
So it’s time to explain why all of this was the worst choice they could make, w/ the help of The Lord of the Rings. & Captain America, etc.
For the good people of the world, especially those upholding the rule of law, all of these conspiracies can seem daunting.
But imagine you’re in law enforcement, counterterrorism and/or counterintelligence. Despite incessant Kremlin propaganda, the US has the strongest restrictions on surveillance in the US, & our #FVEY Five Eyes alliance doesn’t spy on each other’s countries.
A literal blind spot.
Meanwhile, search engines & social media are mapping our connections, interests & access to information through #BigData.
Throw in hacks from Equifax (1/2 of American’s financial data) to Yahoo (3-billion+ email accounts hacked) for blackmail/further data.
Then add high-powered microphones into people’s houses.
That they pay for.
How is this a good thing?
First, the problem w/putting that in the hands of a hostile power & a conspiracy of conspiracies.
For example, Cambridge Analytica:
“We exploited Facebook to harvest millions of people’s profiles. And built models to exploit what we knew about them and target their inner demons. That was the basis the entire company was built on.” theguardian.com/news/2018/mar/…
Or more theatrically:
"The 21st Century is a digital book. Zola taught Hydra how to read it.
"Your bank records, medical histories, voting patterns, your damn SAT scores... Zola's algorithm evaluates people's past to predict their future."
"What then?"
"...Then the Insight helicarriers scratch people off the list. A few million at a time."
So why is all of that a *good* thing?
Here’s what our conspirators were missing. We *had* a blind spot until there was an active investigation into all of this.
But what’s the one thing that illuminates the blind spot w/unimaginable clarity?
A single, overarching conspiracy of overriding interest to global law enforcement which draws every other conspiracy into its orbit… even the ones *not* actively cooperating with it.
Yes, we can investigate & even flip *people.* But what so many are missing is that when your entire business becomes involved in doing something like this, & all of its data is mobilized to that end…
Your business & its data just became a crime scene.
Your people can flip, but we can look under warrant at your communications, records, data, finances… even your computers and the algorithms running on them.
Not just in your particular business, conspiracy and/or criminal enterprise, but in everything implicated in this conspiracy – including unrelated crimes exposed through this deluge of data.
So again, how much hard evidence ties everything together?
#Cryptocurrency forms one initial map. Starting w/personal information of at least 420,000+ users of #Darknet black-market sites & expanding from there.
Every transaction forming a permanent, online, public record. Each account leading to others.
See the top of this thread for details.
But remember, everyone in this conspiracy of conspiracies is getting exposed, and *none* of them intend to die in prison on behalf of the others.
And #RICO statutes, & their state & international equivalents, make trying conspirators collectively for a demonstrable conspiracy that much easier.
There’s an ocean of admissible hard evidence tying these people together.
Again:
"Take the map & superimpose #FARA, #FinCEN, #DeutscheBank, #Cypriot banks, money laundering, Transition emails, misappropriated copyrights, flipped witnesses, #Kompromat reaped by #botnets, online logfiles of everything, warrant-seized evidence, media subversion."
But some “conspirators” are actually legally incorporated companies w/employees & fiduciary responsibilities.
So as everyone flips, so do all those organizations, their employees, their expertise, their computers, their data-mining algorithms, their processing power.
Their Kompromat.
*Worse,* because all of these conspiracies are united in one overarching criminal *&* counterintelligence investigation, all of the data they separately integrated gets integrated together by our side.
Even if we *just* look in terms of the investigation, this is a set of crimes & conspiracies that went everywhere & involved everything. We will shut it down, but first we get a vast MRI of our entire civilization.
They were exploiting gaps in the law to do what they did.
But once Justice is figuratively and literally reforged, answering to it is the only way out.
Every criminal, every asset, every *bot,* every *microchip* has to turn.
And the blind spot becomes anything but blind.
Now ask yourself: How long will these turned assets have to cooperate?
How long will this evidence and intelligence lead to more criminals & traitors, and turn those of our choosing as well?
To continue with our metaphor & our grim starting place:
“She will not long survive the evil that now spreads from Mordor…
“You ride to war but not to victory.”
“You’re outnumbered, Aragorn. You *need* more men.”
“There are none.”
“There are… those who dwell in the Mountain.”
“Murderers, traitors. You would call upon them to fight? They believe in nothing. They answer to no one.”
“They will answer to the King of Gondor.”
“Anduril, Flame of the West. Forged from the shards of Narsil.”
“Sauron will not have forgotten the sword of Elendil. The Blade That Was Broken shall return to Minas Tirith.”
“The man who can wield the power of this sword can summon to him an army more deadly than any that walks this earth.
“Put aside the ranger. Become who you were born to be. Take the Dimholt Road.
“I bring hope to men.”
“I keep none for myself.”
But this is how we deal with one conspiracy. The twist is that they *all* have to answer.
And for us, the real power in this “Ring” lies not in its use but in its destruction.
“The veiling shadow that glowers in the East takes shape. Sauron will suffer no rival. From the summit of Barad-Dur his eye watches ceaselessly. But he is not so mighty yet that he is above fear. Doubt ever gnaws at him.”
“A rumor has reached him. The heir of Numenor still lives...
“But for all their cunning, we have one advantage. The Ring remains hidden. And that we should seek to destroy it has not yet entered their darkest dreams.”
“And so the weapon of the Enemy is moving towards Mordor, in the hands of a hobbit. Each day brings it closer to the fires of Mount Doom.”
Well, it *was* in the hands of a hobbit. But the whole point of this was to move it into hands that could destroy it.
And to bring the mountain to *them.*
By the time the conspiracy figures this out, it will be too late.
“No, what you have are bullets and the hope that when your guns are empty I’m no longer standing. Because if I am, you’ll all be dead before you’ve reloaded.”
“Die. *Die!* Why won’t you die?”
“Beneath this mask there is more than flesh and blood. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr Creedy, and ideas are *bulletproof.*”
Further analogy:
Using all the gathered data to microtarget everyone in the population, in this case, with guns:
"Charlie lock."
"Where are the targets? *Where* are the targets?"
(Resolves to 3. All weapons re-target.)
"I knew if I refused to work, if I took my own life it would only be a matter of time until Krennick realized he no longer needed me to complete the project.
"So I did the one thing no one anticipated. I lied. I learned to lie."
"I played the part of the beaten man resigned to the sanctuary of his work. I made myself indispensable and all the while I laid the groundwork of my revenge.
"We call it the Death Star.
"There is no better name. And the day is coming soon when it will be unleashed."
"I've placed a weakness deep within the system, a flaw so small and powerful they will never find it."
"...So, the reactor module. That's the key. That's the place I've laid my trap. It's well hidden and unstable. One blast to any part of it will destroy the entire station. "You'll need the plans..."
For the record, there's more than one weakness, and they are *not* small. But the "reactor module?" Yes, everything powering this coup and its associated corruption is fatally flawed, and those flaws were laid in years and in some cases decades ago.
So, better luck next coup.
And, next time, think about what it is you're building on.
The Participatory Panopticon.
Your contribution is appreciated.
As is your defeat.

I considered the flaw in cryptocurrency enabling the mass tracking/takedown of organized crime/Russian intel a modest side project for more than one reason. As we proceed, *why* will become more apparent.
