Am shaking with anger over what Danny Healy Rae had the gall to say in the Dáil last night. It was initially suspected my daughter had an FFA at 29 wks pregnancy. The agony of the days waiting for results was unspeakable & will never leave me. It turned out that her
condition was not an FFA but it has left her with physical & severe intellectual disabilities & many challenges. I do not know what I would have done if her condition had been an FFA but I do know this: I would have wanted to make that incredibly hard and agonising decision
for myself, not to have been forced into a situation created by the 8th amendment. I support those parents who made the agonising decision to leave their country & end their pregnancies to save their beloved babies from suffering & I also support those parents who CHOOSE to
continue with their pregnancies. Its about choice. What is best for one woman will not be best for another. But all should have the choice to do what is best for them. #repealthe8th#stoppunishingtragedy
