Let’s talk about Jared #Kushner: son-in-law & senior adviser to 45, wife to The Scientist, son to a scumbag convicted felon, head of a failing RE company, recidivist SF-86 liar, and traitor to his country.
[THREAD]
1/ It can be tempting to regard Jared Kushner as a little twerp, an undeserving nebbish who bought his way into Harvard yet somehow gets to boink Ivanka and also run the country. Let’s put that stupid narrative aside.
2/ Kushner is arguably the most egregious lawbreaker & evildoer in all of Trump’s Cell Bock D of an administration. He is more criminal mastermind than schlemiel. Not a GOOD criminal mastermind, but still. What is already publicly known is enough to convict him many times over.
3/ Kushner is so secretive, he’s basically the J.D. Salinger of the Trump Administration. The media likes to present him as a Boy Wonder, and his milquetoast-ness as a noble virtue. Remember this fawning Forbes profile?
4/ Yeah, so, per Forbes, Kushner headed the Trump campaign’s social media organization, which got a huge bump in June of 2016, right after he hired Cambridge Analytica.
5/ The #CamAnal details will dribble out soon, but we will learn that there was careful coordination between Trump Org, CA, the Erik Prince network, and the Russians.
Kushner was in charge, JUST AS PENCE WAS IN CHARGE OF THE TRANSITION TEAM. Top dogs don't get a pass.
6/ Kushner lied a bunch of times on his SF-86 form. Lying on that form confers a prison term of five years (or is it 10? I’m not a laywer).
@tedlieu has been tweeting about this for months, with all the results of throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean, b/c GOP suck.
7/ Before joining the campaign, Kushner was the head of his family real estate business, and savvily purchased a white elephant of a NYC building for a gajillion bucks, right before the market went kaplooey.
Smart move, Harvard boy!
8/ Kushner now needs a new loan of $1.5 billion…or is it $1.3?...whatever, it’s more than the GDP of some small nations. And he’s been using his influence w/Trump to try and wangle a new deal.
[This sounds like a character arc on SCANDAL].
9/ Kushner asked Qatar for a loan. Hey, they have money, right? Qatar told him to pound sand. And what do you know? He quietly arranged for a blockade of that country. A country where the US has military bases.
10/ Kushner has also been on his knees before the Russians, begging for an infusion of dirty rubles to keep his family business afloat. (This may be literal, too, and not just figurative, for all I know…Kislyak the Hutt looks like he’s not fussy).
11/ Here’s a run-down of Kushner’s meetings with the Putinists (that we know of):
12/
27 April, 2016: Mayflower Hotel, Washington
At his VIP-only foreign policy speech, Trump promises a “good deal” for Russia. Kislyak attends, in breach of protocol. Kushner set this event up!
13/
9 June, 2016: Trump Tower, New York (“I’d Love It”)
Donald Trump, Jr. arranges a meeting with the Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskya, who promises “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. Kushner is there, because of course he is.
14/
18–21 July, 2016: Republican National Convention, Cleveland
Exactly one change is made to the long Republican platform, aligning the GOP’s official position on Ukraine/Crimea with Putin’s. 🤔🇷🇺🤔
15/
1–2 December, 2016: Trump Tower, New York
Kushner & Flynn meet with Kislyak; Kushner proposes an embassy backchannel, which even Sergei is surprised by.
16/
13–14 December, 2016: [undisclosed], New York (?)
Jared Kushner meets somewhere near Newark Airport with Sergei Gorkov, CEO of Vnesheconombank, or VEB, the state bank of Russia. Is he begging for a loan? What form does the begging take?
17/ And now we have the Saudi prince bragging about how Kushner is his bitch. And other countries saying that Kushner’s money problems can be exploited.
18/ In short, Kushner has used his position as Trump’s senior adviser/proxy Ivanka fucker for his own personal gain, EVEN WHEN HIS PERSONAL INTERESTS RUN COUNTER TO THOSE OF THE UNITED STATES.
He is the epitome of state corruption.
19/ When the indictments against Kushner are unsealed—not IF but WHEN—it might be tempting to revert to the narrative of him as Boy Wonder. “He’s quiet, so he must be ok.” “He’s not THAT bad.”
Bullshit. This guy is a fucking traitor, and he should hang.
PS Let’s not forget that Kushner is married to Ivanka. If MY wife did all of these things, the FBI may well arrest me, too, from benefiting from it all.

Let’s talk about the House of Kavanaugh—specifically, the hefty mortgage on said house.
[THREAD]
1/ In 2006, Brett & Ashley Kavanaugh bought a house for $1.22m. They put $245k down, a number that does not appear on his financial disclosures of 2005, which show net worth of $91k.
2/ The mortgage payments ($4600/mo.) alone were more than what Brett Kavanaugh took home in 2006 after taxes. His wife did not add enough to the mix to make up the difference.
In light of the epic (in every sense of the word) NYT story on Trump's tax fraud, let's have a quick review of all the legal troubles these traitors are now in:
[THREAD]
1/ PAUL MANAFORT, Trump’s campaign chair (May-Aug 2016): found guilty on eight counts, pleaded guilty on a bunch more as part of a plea deal in which he must cooperate with Mueller. Met w/Mueller this week, in fact.
2/ MIKE FLYNN, deputy chair of Trump Transition Team, natsec adviser: pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Awaiting sentencing. Will one day get out of prison. Will always be an ugly, ugly man.
Pleased to announce a slate of #DirtyRubles Trump/Russia events, on three of the next five Sundays:
The event in Madison, my hometown, is taking place at an undisclosed secret location [insert Dick Cheney joke here]. If you'd like to come, you need to RSVP: facebook.com/events/6757800…
Let's talk about the Putin/Alt-Right/GOP propaganda machine—the REAL Devil's Triangle—as it relates to Brett #Kavanaugh:
[THREAD]
1/ This cozy little messaging arrangement, which operates happily in the dark most of the time, is now being exposed because of the fatally flawed candidate Donald Trump has nominated to the Supreme Court.
2/ The problem with Kavanaugh is manifold: first, that he had six-figure credit card debts paid off by creditors whose identity we still don’t know; second, that he lied during his initial testimony...
Things might feel a bit bleak. Kavanaugh might be in, Rosenstein might be out, and both would be horrible outcomes for democracy.
So let’s put things into perspective.
[THREAD]
1/ The Kavanaugh fight is not over. Even if he gets CONFIRMED, the fight is not over. He stands credibly accused of sexual assault, and he owes lots and lots of money to…we don’t know who.
There’s also this business of HIS (maybe) stolen emails:
2/ Dr. Ford will likely appear before Congress…and the GOP may bring in outside counsel (note spelling) because THERE ARE NO WOMEN REPUBLICANS ON THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. This is HORRIBLE optics. It will cost them in November. Bigly.
Let’s talk about #Kavanaugh. This is why he should not be confirmed. And it has nothing to do with his political beliefs.
[THREAD]
1/ #Kavanaugh was not on the list of judges given to Trump by Judicial Watch, but he was tapped anyway. This was after Trump said he’d “study” (hahaha) judicial positions on various things—namely whether or not a POTUS can be indicted.
2/ When @ChuckGrassley says he didn't know about Christine Blasey Ford, he may well be telling the truth. The letter from those 65 women was likely produced ahead of time to defend #Kavanaugh against a DIFFERENT accuser(s) we don't yet know about.
