Do you know My King, Jesus?
Allow me to introduce Him to you.
(Credit: Sermon from Rev S.M. Lockridge) #GoodFriday#HolyWeek#Passover
He's the King of the Jews.
He's the King of Israel.
He's the King of Righteousness.
He's the King of the Ages.
He's the King of Heaven.
He's the King of Glory.
He's the King of Kings, and He's the Lord of Lords.
That's my King. David said, "The Heavens declare the glory of God &
the firmament shows His handiwork." My King is sovereign. No means of measure can define His limitless love. No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply.
Do you know Him?
He's the greatest phenomenon that ever crossed the horizon of the world.
He's God's Son.
He's a sinner's Savior.
He's the centerpiece of civilization.
He stands in the solitude of Himself.
He's awesome.
He's unique.
He's unparalleled.
He's unprecedented.
He's the loftiest idea in literature.
He's the highest personality in philosophy.
He's the supreme problem in higher criticism.
He's the fundamental doctrine of true theology.
He's the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion.
He's the miracle of the age.
He's the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him.
He's the only one qualified to be an all sufficient Savior.
I wonder if you know Him today?
He supplies strength for the weak.
He's available for the tempted and the tried.
He sympathizes and He saves.
He strengthens and sustains.
He guards and He guides.
He heals the sick.
He cleanses lepers.
He forgives sinners.
He discharges debtors.
He delivers captives.
He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young.
He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged.
He rewards the diligent.
And He beautifies the meek.
I wonder if you know Him? Well, my King is the King.
He's the key to knowledge.
He's the wellspring to wisdom.
He's the doorway of deliverance.
He's the pathway of peace.
He's the roadway of righteousness .
He's the highway of holiness.
He's the gateway of glory.
His office is manifold.
His promise is sure.
His light is matchless.
His goodness is limitless.
His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His Word is enough.
His grace is sufficient.
His reign is righteous.
And His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.
I wish I could describe Him to you, but
He's indescribable.
He's incomprehensible.
He's invincible.
He's irresistible.
You can't get Him out of your mind.
You can't get Him off of your hand.
You can't out live Him,
And you can't live without Him.
You can't impeach Him, and He's not going to resign.
The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him.
Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him.
The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree.
Herod couldn't kill Him.
Death couldn't handle Him,
And the grave couldn't hold Him.
That's my King, that's my King! Father, "Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory Forever." and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever. How long is that? And when you get through with
all the forevers, then AMEN and AMEN!
THAT'S MY KING ❤ #GoodFriday

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
We all know Simon Peter from the Bible. He is known as Simon bar Yonah. There is a lot of Jewish deliberation over what "bar Yonah" means. I would like to present a theory I have not encountered...
One common theory is that bar Yonah means son of John (Yohannes) BUT Yonah means dove & the dove is used to symbolize the Holy Spirit throughout the New and Old Testaments. So what if it is Simon, son of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus changes his name to Peter/Cephas/Petra, the stone.
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Mt 16:18
Did you know that in addition to Roget being famous for the thesaurus, he is also known for the log, log slide rule? So when Q said Roget that, I found the log of his time stamp.
Hebrew word 323 means lieutenants and occurs in Esther 8:9. What I find interesting is that there is a date in the verse that also corresponds to 323, the 3rd month (Sivan) and the 20 & 3rd day. Sivan 23..which also happens to be my birthday for 2019. In 2018 it fell on 6/6.
Declaration of YHVH
Zephaniah 1:4-12
I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all who live in Jerusalem. I will cut from this place every remnant of Baal, the names of the idolatrous priests, those who bow down on roofs to worship the starry host.
I will cut off those who bow down and swear by YHVH and who also swear by Molech, those who turn back from following YHVH and neither seek YHVH nor inquire of him. Be silent before the sovereign YHVH for the day of YHVH is near.
YHVH has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited. On the day of YHVH sacrifice, I will punish the princes and the kings sons and all those clad in foreign clothes. On that day I will punish all who avoid stepping on the threshold,
The great day of YHVH is near-- near and coming quickly. Listen! The cry on the day of YHVH will be bitter, the shouting of the warrior there. That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, trouble and ruin, darkness and gloom, clouds and blackness.
A day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. I will bring distress on the people and they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against YHVH. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like filth.
Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of YHVH wrath. In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end to all who live on earth.
