1. This triggered a recollection that still makes me furious; I will explain:

2. Back in the 1990s, I was the commanding officer of an expeditionary Navy surveillance unit whose primary mission was conducting surveillance outward from the shoreline using a variety of sensors (radar, acoustic, electromagnetic, and thermal imaging).
3. Over a few weeks, we were assigned to support a multi-jurisdictional task force operating along the Tijuana River in Imperial Beach. The mission was to interdict the flow of illegal narcotics into the US from Tijuana. And incidentally catch & return illegal aliens also caught.
4. As a DoD unit, the law of posse comitatus applies when operating in the US. This law prevents US military units from conducting law enforcement operations. It is further explained here: rand.org/content/dam/ra…
5. Note that the third bullet explains that “visual search and surveillance by military personnel were found not to violate the Posse Comitatus Act.” Since my unit possessed day/night thermal/visual imaging systems, we were able to support the operation legally.
6. The task force included personnel from the San Diego Sheriff’s department, US Border Patrol, Imperial Beach police department, and other law enforcement organizations. Our primary deployment was directly along the border fence conducting night surveillance.
7. The concept of operations was to search for illegal aliens crossing the border carrying duffel bags/large packages, as these nominally contained illegal narcotics. Upon detecting people carrying bags, the LE personnel were provided their precise locations to conduct arrests.
8. Although the priority was on interdicting the flow of illegal narcotics, a number of illegal aliens were also arrested. Things always got going after dark. Literally thousands of people crossed the border each and every night during our surveillance operation.
9. However, only about 50-60% or so were actually caught each night according to the USBP folks. A couple dozen people carrying drugs were in those caught nightly, as well. It was satisfying to help catch these illegals, but I was surprised at how many escaped arrest nightly!
10. Now here is what really shocked me to the core. A border patrol officer explained the process used by some of those attempting to get into the US. Many of them paid $100 to “guides” in Tijuana to help get them across to the US.
11. Each $100 “ticket” bought 10 chances to get across. The illegals who were arrested without drugs each night were taken back to Tijuana in old yellow schools buses the next day. If caught on the first crossing attempt, the illegal merely found the guide and tried again.
12. Given the arrest rate each night, the law of averages meant that, with 10 chances to make it across, anyone who persevered in trying to get into the US would, over time, make it through the LE net! And most of them ended up in LA.
13. And here is the kicker: over the few weeks my unit was participating in the operation, literally THOUSANDS of illegals tried to get into the US each night, rain or shine. And this has been going on every night of the week since then.
14. A section of border wall built since then has stemmed the flow a bit, but that just shifted the crossings further east where no walls exist. There are still a TON of people who make it across. We have already seen some of the consequences wrought on innocents. #KateSteinle
15. No Democrat/leftist/other fool will ever convince me that we don’t need a wall, or that “walls don’t work.” I’ve seen it all with my own eyes, as well as the results of not having one. #BuildTheWall !! ///The end.

1. Some time ago, @Sensimiola2 sent me a very kind note regarding threads, and I replied at length to explain my purpose in writing them – a sort of “Twitter raison d'être” for me.
2. In retrospect, that response is worth conveying to all followers, many of whom have replied positively to my threads since I started some months ago. It provides a sort of how and why for my threading and is presented as follows, plus as bit more at the end:
3. S2, thank you for your kind words! I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to convey far more than the usual one-liners, which fact dovetails nicely with your sense of the decline of standards, especially in basic communications.

1. The below listed article discuss the resistance and anarchy perpetrated by the New Socialist Democrat Party, Radical Leftists, the Socialist Party of America, and Anarchists, who threaten tranquility with cries for “Impeachment” of the US President, and a USSC Justice---
1A. ---“Impeachment” based only on allegations, with no corroborating evidence, is to “Bear False Witness”.
(1 of 4) Mini-Rant Time! The women of the Left – owners of the Kavanaugh debacle – all imagine they’ve been sexually assaulted – by Trump or his supporters. In their wildest fantasies! They wear vagina hats to their anti-male Misandry Rallies ---- *guffaw*.
(2 of 4) That’s the ticket. Celebrate your genitalia for the world to see the absurd hypocrisy of mobilized female hysteria in action. Western women are far too rich & coddled for their own good.
(3 of 4) Too much free time on their hands; too little invested in their actual livelihood and physical security. Imagine: they are 100% in favor of infanticide. And they were on display for all to see during the Kavanaugh confirmation process!
1. Three friends from the local congregation were asked, "When you're in your casket, and friends and congregation members are mourning over you, what would you like them to say?"
2. Artie said, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband, a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man."
3. Eugene commented, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in people's lives."
Thread: Why Do They Do It, and What Needs to be Done
1. Many people wonder why those working in federal agencies are involved in the crimes that we’ve only begun to see exposed in the DoJ, FBI, IRS, State Department, etc.
2. After all, giving one’s life towards “service to the country” is supposed to be a noble endeavor – or at least that’s what the political elite, legacy media megaphones, and others have been telling us for decades, isn’t it?
3. Except that, in the Age of Trump, we’re finding out that many of these people – especially those in the upper echelons of federal law enforcement agencies – aren’t as altruistic as we have been led to believe. In fact, many of them are down-right crooks!
Thread: What to Expect in for the Next Senate Confirmation Hearing for a Republican-appointed Supreme Court Nominee
1. Time to reflect on the Kavanaugh nomination process and look ahead to what might happen the next time around.
2. We’ve witnessed farce, perjury, witness tampering, conspiracy, violent protests, lack of personnel security in Senate office buildings, & obvious collusion between the @capitolpolice and the Dem Party in letting highly-paid protesters into hearing rooms, corridors & elevators.
3. And there are countless deranged calls for violence against Justice Kavanaugh and his family, as well as on Senate Republicans and their staffs, in social media and on legacy media TV networks (MSN-BS, most prominently).
