"Jadi aku tak mahu ada pihak tertentu use your FB postings atau tweets (yang maki hamun, fitnah bagai tu) against you, kena angkut dan masuk lokap sampai miss hari mengundi 9 Mei kelak" - AMM
Oklah. Daripada korang dengar cerita tak betul, buat assumption kemudian memandai sebar fitnah, aku rasa mungkin aku boleh cerita sikit camner aku dapat post tahun 2015 dulu.
Ini hanya sekadar to make my points in previous tweet clearer
In 2015, kalau korang ingat, time tu bising pasal GST on topup mobile phone. Agensi A cakap camni. Agensi B cakap camtu. Bercanggah.
Aku dok baca TL yang heboh pasal mesej agensi kerajaan yang tak seragam tu. It was petang, tunggu nak balik kerja
Sebab free time, aku pun start tweeting some suggestions untuk seragamkan mesej antara agensi kerajaan. Sebab bila mesej tak seragam, rakyat pun confuse.
Lepas dah karang tweet, aku tag DS Najib sendiri dan send. Lepas tu kemas barang, balik rumah
The next day, 1 May 2015 cuti Hari Pekerja. I totally forgot what I tweeted.
My lawyer friend jemput aku pekena Nasi Daun Pisang kat rumah dia. Dalam syok makan tu, tetiba banyak mesej masuk, lebih kurang kata:
"WOI NAJIB DENGAR CAKAP HANG LAH"
I didn't have a clue what the messages are referring to sebab aku belum login Twitter for the day.
Sampai rumah, login Twitter dan terpampang tweet ni kat TL aku
Of course aku takler besar kepala ingat PM post tweet tu hanya sebab dia baca kritikan aku kat Twitter. I take it as coincidence saja.
Few hours later before Maghrib, aku dapat private mesej ni pulak
So I went for kopi2. Bila aku sampai the meeting place, the VIP yang post mesej tu belum sampai. Tapi officers dia dah ada.
To my surprise officers dia clueless apesal aku ada kat situ (the VIP tak story kat officers dia yang dia nak jumpa aku)
Bila officers dia tanya aku ni siapa, aku pun clueless nak cakap apa. Masa tu orang tak panggil aku Tuhan Twitter, Palatau atau Megamind lagi jadi aku slow jer jawab:
"Ermmm... saya ni blogger"
Few minutes later, the VIP sampai. Rupanya dia ada meeting lain kat same location malam tu.
VIP: Semua dah ada dalam bilik meeting?
Officer: Dah, Dato Sri
VIP: In that case you can start. I want to meet Asrul first
So there I was, seated with the VIP. Dinner pun belum. Dia suruh aku order, so aku order Nasi Goreng.
Aku explain kat VIP my ideas, strategies and all in a nutshell. Dia dengar je, angguk, answered some questions yang aku tanya.
Nasi Goreng pun sampai
So the VIP kata:
"I'm going into the meeting. I want you to list down your proposal as detailed as you could then send it to me by tomorrow morning. Enjoy your dinner"
The VIP masuk meeting dan aku pun start perabih Nasi Goreng
The next morning, lepas breakfast aku termenung sat fikir pasal proposal, then aku masuk dalam my study room, buka WhatsApp dan start menaip. Habis satu perenggan, aku click Send.
(Sorry takleh disclose the strategies I proposed in full)
Tak lama lepas tu the VIP replied dan jemput aku datang another meeting the next day
The next day, expecting another 'santai' meeting (ye lah, the VIP tak cerita pun meeting tu nak discuss apa).
Sampai lokasi meeting, rupanya all the top heads of said ministry were there. You know, those yang selama ni muka depa aku cuma tengok kat TV atau news reports
The meeting was to discussed detailed media strategies on how to properly handle the topup issue - dari schedule, program, contents, statements etc to the very details.
Me being big mouth, of course aku just made myself comfortable and threw my ideas
Habis meeting, the VIP asked me to be at RTM the next day for a live TV shoot, where he'll be answering questions pertaining to the topup issue.
The next day, there I was kat RTM, at their VIP meeting room preparing for the program. Ada dinner nasi biryani
Lepas Isya', semua adjourned to one of the studios for live telecast of the program. It was a good, successful program and all questions were answered.
The VIP even made an important announcement at the end of the program
Habis live telecast, everyone adjourned ke bilik makan for supper.
Me, as usual, cari tempat nak smoke. Gila kau, dalam studio tu sejuk macam kat Iceland.
Tengah syok sedut, mesej masuk from the VIP officer; "Where are you? He wants you here now"
Masuk Bilik Makan, aku pun cari seat kosong kat meja officers VIP tu. Tetiba his secretary pointed me to an empty chair next to the VIP and next to the ministry's Secretary General.
So we all makan, borak biasa. The VIP looked happy the telecast went well
The VIP then thanked everyone in a short speech. Habis speech, dia beralih kat the Secretary General and said:
"I like Asrul's ideas, strategies and how he works. I want him to be in our team"
So tu lah lebih kurang cerita camner I got the post in 2015
Ada benda aku boleh cerita dan ada benda aku TAKKAN cerita. Sebab aku professional, dah sign Non Disclosure Agreement dan aku honor my handshake (and friendship) with the VIP.
There are few points I wish to reiterate:
1. Bukan semua VIP tu suka dibodek. Some of the VIPs I came to know during my tenure can spot a bullshit from miles away.
Contrary to popular belief, some VIPs actually pantang bila orang bodek mereka
2. VIPs do read your tweets, comments and suggestions. Sebab tu bila ada dak wicet kata "kau ingat menteri baca ke tweet kau???"... well, aku senyum je lah.
Tapi CARA kau tweet dan ISI tweet kau tu kenalah professional dan konstruktif
Kalau kau cuma reti meroyan argue macam budak wicet, tweet penuh maki hamun, siap name calling, kutuk mengutuk lagi... korang ingat VIP tu kisah ke?
Kritik secara profesional. Konstruktif. Bagi possible solutions. Justifications. Objectives. Strategies
3. Aku dah banyak kali kata dalam my previous tweets or threads... "ANDA DIPERHATIKAN". Tapi hangpa gelak je kan?
Ni aku nak habaq, yes... anda diperhatikan. So be careful with what you tweet and post online
Aku habaq ni bukan sebab nak gertak sesiapa. Tapi kerana aku rasa it's a waste of time bila ada yang kena angkut masuk lokap sebab sebar fitnah, unverified news atau maki hamun individu/institusi tertentu.
You should know which lines not to cross
Dah nak dekat #PRU14. We need everyone to cast their votes (yang dah berdaftar pemilih lah).
What a shame kalau come 9 May, ada yang merengkok dalam lokap just because of some stupid thing you tweeted or posted to FB
Tu je lah kot. Thanks for reading

"Najib aku tak suka. Mahathir pun aku tak suka. PAS out terus. Isyyy aku tak sure lagi la nak vote BN atau PH untuk #PRU14"
Based on my observation and interaction with several key officials, let me make it easy for you. VOTE PAKATAN HARAPAN.
Wanna know why? Ini adalah thread
1. DS Najib as a person is actually quite nice. But he has one major weakness. He relies too much on his so-called 'close advisors'.
In the words of one Minister to me a while back - "they are the untouchables"
