Well, Bruce Ohr & FusionGPS is back in the news again & there's even a mention of his mysterious wife, whom we know almost nothing about other than she's been kept hushed up. nationalreview.com/2018/04/collud…
Let's change that This thread all is about Nellie & what she really stands for & what she really believes about history & how it should be taught & you'll be horrified.
Let’s go back to the recent indictment of 13 Russians ...in Russia, which we are now supposed to pointlessly chase, screeching “Trump-Putin!” on the Left and “No collusion!” on the Right, forgetting all about the revelations of corruption and conspiracy and, yes -
Russian offensive influence operations sowing social chaos on social media and on the streets and totally destabilizing our social cohesion with classic Soviet-style Active Measures campaigns.
The key is still in the “dossier” spying scandal.
Nellie Ohr is the “dossier” spying scandal’s woman in the middle.
To one side of Ohr, there is the Fusion GPS team, including fellow contractor (private spy) Christopher Steele.
To the other, there is husband Bruce Ohr, who, until his “dossier”-related demotion, was theNumber 4 dude at the DOJ, & Steele's key contact there.
As central as Nellie Ohr’s placement is, her role in the creation of the “dossier” remains indeterminate.
For example, the House Intelligence Committee memo on related matters vaguely tells us that Nellie Ohr was “employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump." Cultivation? That's so nebulous it's meaningless.
The memo adds that Bruce Ohr “later provided the FBI with all of his wife’s opposition research.” Senator Lindsey Graham more sensationally told Fox News that Nellie Ohr “did the research for Steele,” but details remain scarce.
Still, relevant facts have emerged.
These include Nellie Ohr’s study in the USSR in 1989; her fluency in Russian & Ph.D. in Russian history in 1990; a 2010 CIA affiliation, which practically makes her former MI6 agent Steele’s “opposite number”; & the extremely curious detail --,
going back to earlier eras of spy tradecraft, that on May 23, 2016, around the time she came on board Fusion GPS, Nellie Ohr applied for a ham radio operator’s license. Wonder why she might need one of those? Kinda random...
Notably, the “dossier” men in her life have tried to shield Ohr from public scrutiny, even at professional risk. This is highly suspicious activity. Why hide her, of all people?
Her husband, as the Daily Caller reports, failed to disclose his wife’s employment with Fusion GPS and seek the appropriate conflict-of-interest waiver, which may have been an important factor in his drop-kick from Assoc. Deputy Attorney General late last year.
Under Senate and House questioning, FusionGPS co-founder Glenn Simpson consistently failed to disclose Nellie Ohr’s existence (!) as one of his firm’s paid Russian experts, let alone that he hired her for the subversive DNC/Clinton campaign Trump-Russia Collusion project.
Even Christopher Steele may have tried to keep Nellie Ohr “under cover.” Steele, known as the “dossier” author ever since its Jan 2017 publication in Buzzfeed, doesn't appear to have let on to his many media & political contacts he had “dossier”assistance from -
- at least two fellow FusionGPS Russian experts, Nellie Ohr & Edward Baumgartner who, interestingly, was a Russian history major at Vassar in the 1990s when Nellie Ohr taught Russian history there, were tapped to provide assistance, though of what nature, again remains a mystery.
Thus, Nellie Ohr’s exact activities as a part of the largest, intense Russian-American Combined Hybrid Active Meausres Campaigns of all time remain opaque. I don't know about you, but this song has been going through my head for a while now:
What most observers don’t realize, though, is that we already have a window onto her thinking through her intransigeant, ideological view of Soviet history.
This is in contrast to what we know of Steele, aside from his widely known anti-Trump deraqngement.
We may read that Steele was widely known as a “confirmed Socialist” (they really mean Communist when they say that, it's just British politeness) while president of the Cambridge Union (KGB Spy Factory since the 30's) debating society in 1986.
We see, thirty some-odd years later, that he chose to disclose the sensational outlines of his relationship with the FBI & role in its investigation of the Trump campaign in Mother Jones, a media outlet named for a famous American oScialist; but Nellie Ohr has a paper trail.
This paper trail is comprised of a Stanford PhD. thesis & a series of academic book reviews, all published between 1990 & 2004 when Ohr, Harvard Class of 1983, was between the ages of 29 & 43.
I mention her seasoned age because in the course of my own analysis of Ohr & her writings , I discovered something shocking that cannot be put down to or dismissed today as youthful inexperience: Nellie Ohr follows in the academic tradition of 1970s & 1980s “revisionism.”
Most folks don't immediately understand the term’s profound malevolence. Here is a beam of illumination from one of the movement’s progenitors, Sheila Fitzpatrick, who, in a 2007 overview of this “revisionist” school, explains its origins thus:
“Quite a few of the 1970s revisionists were Marxists… who hoped to find that at least part of the promise of socialist revolution had been realized or could be recovered.”
She further notes that the “political agenda” of the so-called New Left “undoubtedly influenced many American revisionists.”
These campus Communists - sorry, “revisionists” -would soon dominate history departments of American universities nationwide.
Here, they taught various aspects of the “revisionist” line: that the original “Soviet experiment” remains viable; that Stalin’s crimes and his responsibility for them have been exaggerated; & that maybe they were even worth it all in the end.
“Revisionists” were known for rejecting the “totalitarian model” of Soviet Russia as a politicized figment of Cold Warrior imaginations; however, when the Soviet Union entered The Perestroika Deception & changed form in 1991, the “revisionists” seemed to have, too.
As analyzed in 1994 by anti-communist historian Walter Laqueur, these “revisionists” included American academics who “downplayed the human cost of forcible collectivization of agriculture.”
Oh!
Did I mention Nellie Ohr’s Ph.D. thesis is called “Collective farms & Russian peasant society, 1933-1937: the stabilization of the kolkhoz order”?
“Kolkhoz” order means “collective farm” order, so Ohr’s subtitle refers to the “stabilization” of the collective farm order.
The phrasing alone is suggestive of some "silver lining" after the six million or more people were killed by Stalin’s state-created famine, mass deportations, and reprehensible war of “de-kulakization” extermination.
In the introduction to her babbling 418pg dezinformatsiya thesis, Ohr sets forth her main arguments, citing many of “revisionism’s” leading figures - J. Arch Getty, Roberta Manning, Gabor Rittersporn, Sheila Fitzpatrick.
Speaking “revisionist” lingo, Nellie Ohr turns the millions killed by Stalin into “excesses,” which, in Ohr’s words, “sometimes represented desperate measures taken by a government that had little real control over the country.” (Awww poor Stalin.)
She depicts purges as representing “to some degree a center-periphery conflict in which the ‘state-building’ central government tried to bring headstrong local satraps under control.” A "polite" way of saying dissident suppression.
So now we can see a little more clearly how deeply Communist influence has infiltrated this whole sordid affair.
Cankles & the DNC are really trying to sue the Trump administration using nothing more than Russian sourced Communist dezinformatsiya as their main basis for a lawsuit.
Again, as I posted my thread yesterday, isn't it time we started enforcing the Communist Control Act? These fuckers are just going to keep coming at us until we do, or they overthrow us all by violence, whichever comes first.
Sooner or later they'll drive the last rational one of out of our minds to ineffectiveness & then there won't BE anyone left to #MAGA. America will only be a distant memory of another delusional, broken & miserable Communist dictatorship.
Here's the long awaited mega-thread on the basics of how to be an intelligence analyst & how your own mind can fuck you over & trick you, how to watch for it in yourself & others. This is a powerpoint thread, so I'll only type in here rarely. Strap in, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
So Mike @MichaelAvenatti, you've just proven once again, by reporting your "investigative findings" of Michael Cohen by investigating the WRONG GOD DAMN MICHAEL COHEN, that lawyers need to stay in their fucking lanes & let actual investigators do investigations. You suck goat-ass
I mean, let's just look at some ACTUAL invesitgative findings, simply performed, using public records access, specifically US Census data. There are 1397 people named Michael Cohen in the United States alone. With that big of a pool, absolute verification is common procedure.
It's important in ANY investigation that involves accessing sensitive personal data, LIKE BANKING RECORDS which @MichaelAvenatti COULD ONLY HAVE ILLEGALLY OBTAINED to make sure you're violating the RIGHT PERSON'S PRIVACY FOR THE RIGHT GOD DAMN REASONS!
Some Agencies are fine. I don't mind the FBI (for the most part, I LOVE my friends & colleagues in the rank & file, not so much the DC politicos) and the CIA & various military Intel Agencies are vital, but many have been infiltrated & subverted since the Church Committee.
I was at ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) for 4 years & loved it & still keep in touch with my mentor from there. We play "Go" over the email and telephone. ONI is America's first Intel Agency founded in March, 1882 & served honorably since.
ONI was the last refuge of Angletonian Intelligencers after "Perestroika." The last place analysts knew that Russia was lying & could talk about it amongst themselves & keep an eye on Yeltsin & Putin & what they were up to.
This is an excellent thread and I'm using it as a jumping off point to get something off my chest that's been bothering me for YEARS. -Thread birthed from a thread.

FusionGPS and HAKLUYT bill themselves as private intelligence firms. There are actually quite a few private intelligence firms in the world. I am the founder and CEO of one myself. But let me tell you about the problems I have with these type assholes.
First off, starting a private intelligence firm is really easy. In both the US and UK it is an unregulated, unlicensed industry. All you have to is file corporate organization paperwork, call yourself a private intel firm & start generating clients.
These are the 4 stages of the subversion campaign. Each is a long term stage which leads into & overlaps with the following stage. Bezmenov's orgininal timeline was little off, as his info was only current to 1970 & things change situationally, requiring adjustments.
Demoralizatio n began in 1964 & went until Destabilization began around 1992-3 and continued till the crisis period began round 1997 & Communist Normalizaton began in earnest between 2003-2005 with the development of Social Media, used as the normalization vector.
These are more detailed steps in the subversion process as it related to how the Soviets interacted with us and responded to our mutations to continue through all 4 stages fluidly.
