I am pro-life & Jewish, and although I wouldn't personally phrase it this way, the fact that once upon a time she did, is a #NothingBurger.
I'm much more offended by the politically correct cowards who pushed Doug to remove her b/c of it

About Tanya's views on gay marriage:
I support gay marriage, yet I understand the position & the arguments of those who once opposed it when it was an issue, which is why I completely reject the notion that their position is based on intolerance or homophobia.

The comment was distasteful, but she was young and unpolished at the time. She never said anything remotely like that while wearing the PC brand. That's not a reason to remove her.

About Tanya's burqa "dress like ninja" comment:
I'm much more offended on behalf of the women who are forced to "choose" this undignified dress-code, then by anyone who dares to speak their mind, and to say the obvious, that burqas are not & should not be considered "normal".

The decision to remove Tanya was the biggest disappointment & mistake by Doug Ford so far. I'm on the moderate side of the social conservative scale, and yet I feel betrayed by this decision. Imagine how full-scale social conservatives feel.

To me this was a first big step towards Doug downgrading himself in my view to the gutless conservative brand of Patrick Brown & John Tory. Having said that, Doug still can, should, and I believe will never again make a mistake like this.

While I understand the temptation for many grassroots activists to dismiss Doug completely, and to turn against him, I urge you all to give him 1 last chance. He's still by far the best alternative. Nevertheless, the #PCPO must pay for this mistake...

No matter who the appointed candidate for Mississauga Centre is, I propose that we make sure that it's NOT going to be anyone from #PCPO. Let's all encourage Tanya to run as independent. If she decides not to, then we support the local Libertarian or Trillium alternative.

Every moderate conservative #PCPO future MPP must know that if they betray the grassroots, the next time it won't be just 1 seat that's at stake. It will trigger a full scale seat-by-seat swamp-draining. And if that fails, then the grassroots will have to find a new party.
