Trump declares US leaving ‘horrible’ Iran nuclear accord apnews.com/cead755353a145… This article is ridiculous on so many levels.

“President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the landmark nuclear accord with Iran Tuesday, declaring he was making the world safer in restoring harsh sanctions. But he also dealt a profound blow to allies, deepened his isolation on the world stage and revived doubts about

American credibility in the most consequential foreign policy action of his presidency.”

A “profound blow to allies”? Seriously? Do they really think there’s a single ally that doesn’t understand that the US system of government means policies change with new administrations? If you want to talk about serious blows to allies, let’s talk about the US abandonment of

Vietnam. We left South Vietnam high and dry, wouldn’t even give them supplies so they could fight on their own. You don’t THAT had an impact on allies? The lack of historical awareness is appalling.

“Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said he was sending his foreign minister to work with those remaining countries but warned there was only a short time to negotiate with them and his country could soon “start enriching uranium more than before.”

No mention of the fact that Iran’s rial is collapsing, it’s in the middle of a peaceful revolt and the mullahs hardly have any time left to do anything, much less the money to do it with. So, we have both historical ignorance and current affairs ignorance?

Why bother to write the article if you have no clue what’s going on?

We should ask all the braniacs what the recent Israeli revelations regarding the Iranian nuclear weapons program mean. Any “deal” with Iran needs to BAN nuclear development, not delay it. Trump, at least, understands that. The elites? Not so much.

Or perhaps they do, and they’re mad that they won’t be able to start a nuclear holocaust with Iran any more.

the deal are likely to see it as a sign the United States is returning to a more skeptical, less trusting approach to dealing with adversaries.” Here’s an idea. The next time a President makes a deal with a foreign country, how bout he gets Congress to approve it?

The Iran deal was not a treaty. It was a deal between Obama and Iran, with no input from US citizens - you know - like DACA? The pen and the phone have done great damage, and it’s left to Trump to clean up the mess.

‘Former President Barack Obama, whose administration negotiated the deal, called the Trump decision “misguided.” He added that “the consistent flouting of agreements that our country is a party to risks eroding America’s credibility and puts us at odds with the

world’s major powers.”’

We haven’t “flouted” any agreements our country is party to, Barry. We’ve flouted agreements that you unilaterally agreed to in violation of the Constitution. If you had had the slightest modicum of respect for our Constitution, we wouldn’t be in this position.

“Iran has denied ever pursuing nuclear arms.” You can seriously write that with the caveat that it was recently proven to be a lie? Seriously? No mention at all of what the Israelis discovered (with help from Iranians)? You should have your license to write revoked.

“For the Europeans, Trump’s withdrawal constitutes dispiriting proof that trying to appease him is futile.”

Yeah, well, that’s a lesson Kim Jong Un has already taken to heart. Perhaps the rest of the world should wake up. There’s a new boss in town, and he backs up his words with action. Yeah, I know that’s unusual for the US, but - get used to it. It’s a new day.

And THAT is precisely why it was a bad deal. When you have sunset provisions in a deal, you’re basically telling the other party they can do what they want after the sunset date, including negotiate for more giveaways or relaxation of sanctions before re-upping.

It’s a typical Obama deal. Give away the farm and get empty promises in return. We, the American people, have had it up to here with that crap. Now it’s time to #MAGA and #KAGA.
