Let’s look at the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has testified that Kavanaugh tried to rape her at a party in 1982. She provided names for three witnesses. All three witnesses have stated that they have no recollection of such an event.
Furthermore, Ford’s friend, Leland Keyser, has stated under oath that she has never met Kavanaugh, either with or without Ford being present. Judge and Smyth both stated under oath that they have never seen Kavanaugh behave in the way described by Ford.

It’s Saturday Bible Time. Now is a good time to pray. Pray without ceasing. Pray when you’re working, when you’re resting, when you’re playing. Pray as much as you can. Pray earnest prayers. Ask God for intercession. We are at a crossing point. Prayer is the answer.
No matter what you’re doing, you can be thinking of God - and praying. Asking God to hold the devil spirits at bay. To bring his intercessory angels into the battle on our behalf. Most of all, pray to thank him for what he’s already done to bring us to this point.

I find myself struggling to put into words the maelstrom of emotions churning inside me. I’m angry, a deep, white-hot anger, at what’s been done to Judge Kavanaugh. I’m disappointed that the GOP has once again acceded to Democrat demands.
I’m optimistic that Judge Kavanaugh will be appointed to the Court on Monday, as Leader McConnell has assured us will happen. I’m terrified that yet another false allegation will be thrown out this weekend, once again fouling up the process. I feel terrible for Dr. Ford.

This may not be very popular, but I’m going to express my opinions about today’s hearing. I watched the entire thing, from beginning to painful ending.
First, Dr. Ford. I feel very badly for her. Thanks to the Democrats, she has been put through hell. (Don’t worry. I’ll get to Kavanaugh.) I believe her. I think she experienced something very traumatic. For some reason, she thinks it was Kavanaugh, although it was clearly not.

At this hour, we still don’t know if Dr. Ford will actually show up for the hearing. If she does, here’s what I think will happen, based on all the tidbits I’ve been picking up along the way.
She’ll be given an opportunity to fully describe her experience. The gaps in her memory will be probed, but she will basically be believed. She experienced something awful that she has repressed, and her memories are befuddled.

Today’s sentencing of Bill Cosby was a sad day. It marks the end of an era, when Hollywood stars were admired and looked up to. If Dr. Huxtable is dirty, how can anyone in Hollywood be clean?
We’ve know for years about the hedonistic nature of some Hollywood stars and the abject immorality of people like Madonna and Miley Cyrus, but the conviction of Cosby strips the veneer completely. There are little left in Hollywood that is redeemable.

Incredibly frustrated is putting it mildly. We have a woman who has made a vague accusation that cannot possibly be addressed directly. She’s very clearly partisan, as are her attorneys.

I see a bunch of whining and complaining about weak-kneed Republicans on Twitter tonight. The sunshine patriots seem to be out in force. There’s rumblings about not voting for Republicans in November. So, you want to cut off your nose to spite your face? How childish.

It’s late, I know, but my grandkids just left, so you’ll have to forgive me. Tonight I want to talk about being in the hospital as a Christian. I’m fine now, but recovery will take about a month. So, why do Christians get sick? Why do they die?
I often hear people say it was God’s will when someone dies or is a horrible accident. It’s never God’s will. That’s Satan’s will. He is the god of death and destruction. The reason Christian’s get sick and die is because we live in Satan’s world.

This whole sordid affair with Christine Blasey Ford has been a lesson in power politics. First, Feinstein sat on it until the last possible minute, in the hopes that it would torpedo the nomination. Then, the GOP (brilliantly IMO) reacted by saying let’s hear what she has to say.
That threw the Dems (and I include the media here, because they’re monolithic, for the most part) for a loop. They were obviously unprepared for that reaction. So, since the goal was to torpedo, they dropped back to delay. The FBI must investigate (which would take months.)

I guess I’m going to have to thread this, because it’s too complicated to respond in one tweet. First of all, I see nothing wrong with Rosenstein’s response. Strzok was exposed, removed, demoted, and eventually fired. His indictment and conviction is next.
Unfortunately, these things take time - time that many patriots don’t want to allow, because they want hangings now. I understand. I find it frustrating too. But the indictments and convictions will come, in due time. I don’t blame anyone for not believing that.

Let’s be charitable and give Dr. Christine Blasey Ford the benefit of the doubt. Let’s assume that she is remembering an actual incident from her teenaged past. Even under the best of circumstance, this does not implicate Brett Kavanaugh.
Ford has made the claim that three men were present during the time when Kavanaugh allegedly attacked her. Kavanaugh has vigorously denied the charges - twice. But, the other two men involved have both stated on the record that they have no recollection of the incident.
