Chronic pain
Pregnant
Parents of young children
Unreliable transportation
Can’t stand or sit for long periods
Boss at caucus
Abusive Husband at caucus
Caucuses favor able bodied extroverts with money and time
Unity commission members pushed caucus expansion to disenfranchise certain demographics.
Caucuses should end not expand.
I can’t count the number of woman on NH phones and doors who made it very clear they could not discuss their preference for Hillary in front of the husband. So routine the occurrence.
People in small towns who own businesses can’t caucus.
People in small towns who don’t want their neighbors knowing their business can’t caucus.
It’s hard enough for us organizers to get people out to just cast a vote in a primary. Caucuses are ridiculous.
People who observe the sabbath on Saturday can’t caucus.
First time voters who are intimidated by the process and unsure if “they know enough” won’t caucus.
Many disabled folks can’t caucus.
Some can!
Don’t assume!
But why should we? #CripTheVote
Caucuses are for people who have no one to offend or make uncomfortable with their public political views.
Caucuses don’t work for:
Nurses
Teachers
Lawyers
Psych professionals
School Principals
Business owners
Physicians
