Even though lower than we expected, Income Tax has been lowered for us Middle Class

GST on Goods far lower than total taxes earlier (Excise +VAT etc.), lowering the prices of all Goods

Lower Inflation means my purchase power isnt being robbed

The only Govt (after Indira Gandhi withdrew OROP in 1973) to restore OROP back for our Army. My friends father's pension is now 65% more than what it'd have been w/o OROP

Some asking aam aadmi ko kya mila. Let me share what I personally benefited:

Lower prices for food and goods(coz lower GST and low Inflation)

I now dont fear bomb blast going to a busy public place

World class National Highways & Expressways

Better public Service, I interacted with Passport and Income Tax. Much smoother than earlier

While Crony Capitalists like Mallya swinded public money as Bank loans with impunity during UPA, Modi Govt brought Bankruptcy code, empowering Banks to dispose promoters assets and sell to recover money.

The insolvency law is the biggest reform in the banking sector that has changed the body language of both bankers as well as promoters of their borrowers. RBI’s new NPA rules may hurt but will drain the swamp

Eg : 35,000 Crore back to the Bank from Bhushan Steel sale ,
