1/ It takes people, tools and execution to create a new product and bring it to life. Here’s a shoutout to a few products and services that have been tremendously helpful to @MarieProkopets and I as we’ve built @usefyi 🙏. producthunt.com/posts/fyi
2/ We used @typeform to create a half dozen surveys that helped us learn everything we possibly could about how people use documents. These surveys helped us learn what problems to solve with @usefyi. @DOkuniev and @robert22munoz, you two have built a beautiful, useful product!
3/ @Calendly helped us easily schedule meetings for @usefyi customer interviews so we had less back and forth emails about finding the best time and best way to chat.
4/ @mixmax connected with our gmail account and helped us send lots of personalized emails to people during our @usefyi early access period. Thanks @olofster and team for building such an easy to use product that saves so much time.
5/ Every screen of @usefyi has been run through countless user tests because of how fast and easy @usertesting gets us rich qualitative data. @chrisabad and team, great job on the recent redesign =)
6/ We love @drift and can’t live without it. There are countless ways it helps us communicate with our @usefyi customers. We use Drift to share feature updates, solicit feedback, and email our customers. It’s helped us build @usefyi in so many ways! @dcancel @eliast#chatbots
7/ Pricing and packaging a product is everything. It’s one of the toughest nuts to crack. We are eternally grateful to @Patticus and the @PriceIntelligently team for working with us on @usefyi so early in our business. The insights have literally been priceless.
8/ Five second tests with @usabilityhub helped us nail @usefyi copy in no time. Thanks @mmilo for productizing such a powerful tactic!
9/ Without @ampltitude we would be flying blind as we iterate @usefyi. Thanks @spenserskates for building an analytics tool for product people. #measure
10/ @ProductHunt Ship has been a game changer. Our @usefyi early access was much smoother and easier to execute because of all the tools that @rrhoover and team have built into the platform for makers 🙏😺 #startup
11/ And most of all, we’re grateful for all of the feedback we’ve received on @usefyi over the last few months. Thanks to everyone who gave us their opinion, you helped us get to where we are today :) producthunt.com/posts/fyi

1/ Recently we launched @usefyi to help you search and organize all your documents in one place. Today we're releasing a minimum viable product (MVP) of our next feature, a desktop app. Here’s how we’ve been successfully using MVPs for building @usefyi producthunt.com/posts/fyi-desk…
2/ Nearly 10 years ago, @EricRies defined the concept of MVP as a product with "just those features (and no more) that allows you to ship a product that resonates with early adopters; some of whom will pay you money or give you feedback."
3/ MVP is still one of the hardest product development concepts to get right. Why? An MVP isn’t just less code, or fewer features. And it’s not an excuse to leave out the details of a product to make product development easier.
