1- My thread for tonight:
100 years of climate change headlines.
2- In the 1930's, the media was reporting about melting ice caps over greenland. The climate is getting warmer according to scientists.

1-My Thread for the day:
Canadian Media Convergence and the dangers to democracy.
2- In the early 2000’s, some might remember, Canadian media landscape was a lot different. You could open a newspaper and get opinions from the left and the right. Same goes for TV news outlets. In 2018, the picture is a lot different and it’s bad for democracy.

1-My thread for the day :
Since Mad Max announced the creation of his new party he has been bombarded from all sides (to be expected to some degree). What isn’t fair though is that Canadians aren’t getting the full story.

1)My thread for the day:
Media Spin before an elections
When I make a decision I like to look at raw data and patterns, not spin.
Unfortunately not enough people think that way and fall for the media traps every time. Please read on RT/Comment
2) The media can be a powerful tool to sway an election in the last run up of an election. They will push you to make an emotional decision rather than rational one which you will regret later.

Hard working Filipino workers commonly get trafficked, abused and enslaved in the Middle East. #EthicalOil atimes.com/article/manila…2) It is common for Filipino workers to go work in the middle east as opportunities are scarce in their home country. Unfortunately for many, hope can become a nightmare. Some of those articles date back a while but I use them to show the trend. scmp.com/news/asia/arti…
