This gentleman made a factually incorrect point about McCarthy.

He made the mistake of stating McCarthy claimed to have a list of 205 Communists, when in fact he did not.

I tried to help him by showing what he got wrong, with sources, and he blocked me. That's odd. In fact, McCarthy said he had the names of 57 card-carrying Communist or Communist allies who still worked in the government. A close examination of sources at the time reveals this. The idea that he said 205 was #FakeNews used to hurt McCarthy.
