The US and Mexico had big automotive sector trade issues that did not involve Canada. There was no reason for Canada to be included in those discussions. We were not excluded. 1/4 #NAFTA #cdnpoli That the Mexican President mentioned the importance of Canada repeatedly in his call with Trump was helpful. I believe Mexico wants to work with Canada & continue to have free trade with us. They reached a deal with the US & it was only natural to announce it. 2/4 #NAFTA #cdnpoli
