My male friend and I drove to a Thai restaurant to pick up food. On arrival, a slick black Tesla drove into the parking spot right next to us and a very attractive woman hopped out of the car and walked into the same restaurant we were going. In my mind I was like I wonder what she does. She was dressed like she had come straight from work, and was put together Amal Clooney style. I guessed entertainment Lawyer, before I could vocalize my thoughts.
My male friend blurted out, "I wonder who bought her that car".

Most of the world is unable to seperate sex from homosexuality.

They immediately believe that a child realizing he/she likes the same sex, is envisioning sexual acts, yet at the very same ages, recall their own innocent crushes fondly and free of sexual urgency. I remember my first childhood crush, I was 5 and I liked the way he saluted while saying the pledge. I thought it was cute how badly he did it.
And so running into tweets of people wondering why a child is thinking of "homosexuality" at the age of 9, is just so unfortunate

Religious people use symbolic speech to explain beliefs that marginalize others, because it doesn't make sense using regular reasoning.
The most genius part of religion was assigning divinity to what cannot be explained.

Why is it this way if it harms others?

"God made it so" Imagine if I wrote a book and in it I claimed that God created all sagittarus people to rule the world.

Q: How do you know God wanted just sagittaurus people to be in charge of the world?

A: Because it is written in the book I wrote.

Most Feminists raised in religious homes, grew to be aware of the humanity behind the centering of the male gender.
Religion formed within a patriarchal society, will favor males & prioritize male leaders.
A human tactic of retaining power repackaged as God's design for gender Feminism rejects patriarchy as the ultimate authority for her life, instead placing logic, emphathy & choice on the throne.
The god of patriarchy pridefully says: Women are the helpers of men and must reduce their womanhood for the benefit of men.

I just got nominated for head feminist by @FisayoLonge & I am also married, so i can correct you.

We are logical so we have an equal partnership. We both value what we contribute to the relationship & thus our lives are easy, thoughtful and considerate.
Here he is @myronbrew It is telling the horrible controlling men women accomodate in the name of being married when so many people are so certain, that feminists are secretly groveling at home, while being bold on the timeline.

The people who made up oppressive cultural rules that dull Nigerians want to enforce on others, did they like their lives?
How do we know living up to their rules, is worth denying ourselves what we want...today?
Can we ask them if they enjo....oops, they are dead. So let me get this straight, I am supposed to live by cultural rules, made up by people from the past who are now deceased, rules dictated by people in a society then, that saw women as property and of inferior status, rules that
Held no basis in logic, and only entertained

She felt a mixure of emotions.
Anger, hot & boiling, but also curiously, a sense of relief.
There is an odd twisted victory in finding out what you always suspected, was actually true.
"My husband is cheating on me", she said it out loud to taste the betrayal on her tongue. She thought back to when they first met. She had been so different back then..so young and so in love, not just with him, but with the idea of the life she was finally going to live.
Growing up in a family that raised her to one day be a good wife and mother, she had gone

People have a fairytale impression of marriage, even the most intelligent people gloss over the reality of entering into a partnership that has no end date in sight.
Before we marry, our pattern of how we navigate relationships does not prepare us for what marriage expects. We are used to getting into a relationship, and after a couple of weeks, months, years, the relationship running it's course.
We date again, meet another person we rate above others, and the process starts all over again. It ends, we begin dating again, we meet somebody

So let me tell you about my trifling aunt's husband who is acting out because the consequences of his actions are closing in on him, and in true Nigerian man fashion, is causing him to act in over dramatic ways, claiming to be disrespected when he provided so many reasons to be. My sweet Auntie J, mother of 6, married to her husband of over 25 years lived in a nice beautiful home in Houston.
She is a nurse and he is an engineer and in 2012, the start of this sordid tale,
all their kids aside from the youngest were in college.

Dude..In 2018, what argument can possibly hold as to why women cannot be ordained to priesthood?
Let me share some screenshots from an article that addresses this question.
Responses shared are by a theologian of the papal household.
Does this sound familiar? #tweetwithmalelogic Jesus chose men as his disciples, so lady....... you can't sit here.
Apostolic succession follows that the church must use the same model left by Christ to his followers.

This thread is full of women dragging the OP and I have something to say about that.
If a woman involves another woman in her relationship, an innocent person, and she calls her out of her name, and tells her she is a problem, she deserves whatever response she gets. The women who are calling her a terrible person for airing out her ridiculous dms, are the type of women who think we should care about their trash relationships.
We should respect their crazy, insecure and inappropriate behavior, because they are in love and we should get it.

Forgiveness is a "charitable" act that so many are oddly entitled to.

So is forgiveness your choice or nah?

If forgiveness was completely up to the wronged person, so many people wouldn't be so disturbed by a person choosing not to forgive.

So who does it really benefit? Don't let the world tell you that having an honest reaction to provocation, an equivalent response, makes you a bitter and angry person...it is gaslighting to ask people to pack up their honest feelings to make those who wronged you, feel better about their actions.

And for both "history making" progress recorded, it took black people at the helm for it to occur.

Shame. I remember arguing in favor of Richelieu Dennis (shea moisture) expanding his product line to cater additionally to non blacks for this reason.
Black folk having economic power means more groundbreaking opportunity for black folk.

A women responded to a post I had on instagram with her thoughts on feminism,

"Some women are too radical, they don't like men and want nothing to do with them!"

I thought to myself how strange, why is it mandatory for every woman to like men? Women disliking men would be problematic to me, if said women were structurally affecting the advancement of men.
It would be appalling to me, if women were using their dislike to physically attack, harm and violate men.
I don't even fw with those jokes of robbing men,

If you cannot stand hearing #notall to sexist or racist criticism, you cannot #notall to organized religion criticism.
You cannot in any form claim that most people who criticize organized religion are not coming from places of validity and shared experiences. As much as you would like to keep a divine and sacred image of the organized religion you belong to, please keep in mind that humans are in charge of running them, and humans are capable of abusing the advantages they are afforded.

A notable part of male logic worth discussing, is how beauty is defined in women.
Although more "woke" women are aware of this, the reason why society deems some women more beautiful than others, is just because male logic dictates it to be so.
Men develop a fetish for a Skintone, hair colour, body type, etc and suddenly, despite all the other body types, skintones and haircolor available that are equally as beautiful, we all suddenly conclude that the one males prefer, is what defines beauty.

It is flawed logic, and it is a shame that we ever

Men are logical when they use logic, and not male logic.
Male logic has no basis in logic.
It's aim is to conclude in a way that benefits men, regardless of fact and accuracy.
Male logic is akin to bedtime stories told to children to feel special..except believed by grown men Imagine needing to believe that you are better and deserving of more benefits, than the next person who is doing as much and even more than you are.
What are words we can use to describe that person?
Selfish
Delusional
Greedy
To be avoided
The average man thinks this way.

It is important that I repeat this frequently.
Not everyone is meant to be a parent. Not everyone is capable of parenting
children.
I am not talking about putting food on the table & sending them to school, I am talking about creating balanced adults.
Kids are not emotional Support pets, to only help you fill a void that you believe exists within you.
To help you feel unconditional love. They grow up and stop being cute, dependent babies who listen to your every word and command eagerly.
What do you do then? How do you treat them then?

Notable activists that have advocated for change in their communities have alluded to anger fueling the strides they push for, are they not strong?
Anger is only seen as a negative trait for women. For men, it is seen as a trait of masculinity.
A woman can be angry & strong. Anger is a "safe" emotion for men to express. We understand that men use anger as a replacing expression for other emotions they may feel.
Rejection = Anger
Shame = Anger
Embarrassed = Anger

Do we question the strength present in men, just because they are/were angry?

What does "acting like a wife" mean?...I see that alot on twitter,
"Don't act like a wife, when you are just a girlfriend".

What does it mean to act like a wife? What do wives behave like? In detail.
What is lost..or gained when you start acting like one? So far all the responses I have received, are about engaging in domestic labour and overextending yourself for the man you are with. Doing too much.

Why does being a wife mean that to so many people?
I don't believe being a wife, makes it okay for women to become mules.

The success of #tweetwithmalelogic is beautiful, but most importantly it did what I intended it to do.
It clarified the absence of logic in the societal norms that govern gender interaction.
Stringent belief in it by either men or women, renders the believer illogical & dull. The most special part of watching this hashtag unfold, is that there is no bashing going on, the participants are simply repeating patriarchal logic that has governed society WORLDWIDE, yet hearing it this way, repeated by women, is causing so much hurt because it reads so stupid
