John McCain passed today. It wasn’t like we all didn’t know it was coming. Still, it’s sad. And to @cindymccain @MeghanMcCain I wish my heartfelt condolences. May you find peace and comfort in the coming days.

But now a little rant/reminder... (1/?) People are getting SUPER nasty about the passing of this man. Saying HORRIBLE things TO HIS FAMILY.

Yes. He was a politician. And if you liked what he did, you say good things. And if you didn’t like what he did, there is a RESPECTFUL way to express that (2/?)

So we see, plain as day, that we are breaking the law. In International law, when someone breaks the law, what happens? Well first the UN says “bad country”. Ok. Not too bad. Then they issue sanctions. What are sanctions? Well they vary, depending on the goal. 2/?

The executive order stops separation of families at the border. Sort of. But I’ll get into that in a few.
