A pretty cool story for your Wednesday: In 1957, the KKK bombed the parsonage of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Inside that home at the time was a young white couple, Rev. Bob and Jeannie Greatz, Bob's mother and their four kids - the youngest just NINE DAYS OLD. /1
This was the 1st of 2 bombings of the Graetz's home by the KKK, which was angry with the couple for betraying their race and aiding the Montgomery Bus Boycott. This bombing was meant to kill them. Except the KKK being made up of redneck goobers, screwed up the bombing /2
