1. Thomas Wictor's Twitter account was suspended because he said that assailants should be shot. Here's the definition of 'assailant': a person who physically attacks another. 2. There is nothing controversial about this opinion. LEOs and military members do this everyday.

1. I kidded Thomas when he compared dogs to @BillKristol.

Dog story: my parents' dog loves me and gets all sad when I leave. Somehow, he knows. When I visited NM last week, however, he went nuts barking and snarling when I first came to the door. 2. This was a first and I was taken aback. But I found out why he did it: he hates my cousin.

1. I’ve composed many memorials to the victims of the terror attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. #NeverForget #September11th

However ... 2. One remains my favorite because the post's main topic is not about my reaction to the attack, nor is it about death, not really.

1. From a couple of years back, fun and funny Burt Reynolds interview. deadline.com/2018/09/burt-r… 2. Burt mentions his resemblance to Marlon Brando and that Brando hated him. It never crossed my mind that they resembled each other until I read this, but, yeah, they did look alike. However ...

1. By Shelby Steele, one of my political fathers. (The other is Thomas Sowell.) wsj.com/articles/the-e… via @WSJOpinion 2. Quote: "White guilt is not angst over injustices suffered by others; it is the terror of being stigmatized with America’s old bigotries—racism, sexism, homophobia and xenophobia. "

1. A miracle. 2. In 2009 or 2010, I was driving north on Vermont Avenue in South Central LA. I had a blue 2000 Kia Sephia which I had acquired used. It served me well until about 2012 when having the radiator fixed would have cost me more than what I had paid for it.

1. One of the first stops on my trip will be Albuquerque, where the bulk of the American side of my family lives. 2. Many of my readers know that I have three dads: my biological father who is Kenyan; my great-uncle (RIP), who raised me during the first part of my childhood; and my American dad – Albuquerque is his hometown.

1. This is disappointing, @MarlaMHughes . I give you an objective rule wrt issuing authority for access to classified information. Tell you that ANY POTUS whether it's DJT, BHO, or future President Warren may exercise that authority *for any reason.*

For. Any. Reason. 2. And you say that I'm "defending an evil man."

You may or may not know that it was MY JOB for nine years to know this lines of authority for these things, back when Reagan was president. And Bush 1. And Clinton.

1. Amen.

I don't dwell on the following much because I pray for those who have wronged me. However, I have had things stolen from me in the past few years. 2. In all cases, the perp was someone who was less "fortunate" than I was. Two stole my money. One stole my iPad.

The loss of money caused me to lose my car back in 2014.

I was under the impression that Protestants and Catholics serve the same God. If that's so, then we all need to call out anyone who calls themselves a public servant of the Living God and, through that position, abuses the flock. These abusers are ruining lives in more ways than one. It's a safe bet that many of the abused grow up to be atheists, and why wouldn't they when the alleged servants of God turn out to be demons?

1. Hat Tip: @AlreadyTooRich

I have a better idea of how these poor, deluded children can be set free from "white guilt."

nytimes.com/2018/08/14/sty… 2. First of all, anyone who concerns self with "white guilt" and "white privilege" unconsciously believes in white supremacism. The obvious implication of those two concepts is that whites are inherently better than non-whites.

1. Yesterday, my friend @ThomasWictor urged me to share some of my old writings, so that’s my on-going task. Some posts received a lot of attention; others, not so much. My favorites fall into both categories. 2. The one I’m about to offer addresses the topic of shame – a recurrent theme for me.

1. People are still talking about Sarah Jeong -- that Korean_American chick who was added to the New York Times editorial board and who hates white guys so much that she has a gazillion Tweets devoted to it. 2. I had to mute a guy today, because he was posting collage after collage of Sarah's hate-white-dude tweets and it was clogging up my timeline, not to mention boring me to death.

Maxine Waters deserves 99% of the criticism she gets. But lots of people who talk about her district have no true knowledge of it. I grew up in that district, went away for a while, then lived there again from 2003 to 2014. Some of the district is bad, but other parts are nice. Last year, there was a picture being passed around of "Waters' district." I took one look at it and immediately called BS. Reason: it was a picture of a beach. Water's district ends well east of the beach. The picture wasn't even one of the SoCal coast.
