1/ GA Voters--ACTION ALERT!--Voters must demand paper ballots for Election Day voting at the polls!! Contact county Bd. of Elections & Bd. of Commissioners. Insist that they honor voters' constitutional voting rights and not use DREs in the election. See thread for instructions. 2/ After the Court ruled that DREs impose harm on voters' constitutional voting rights, the counties seemed to ignore it, and somehow concluded that violating the Constitution is okay. (Fulton and a few large counties claimed that they couldn't handle paper and it would...

1/ GA VOTERS--Closed door meeting held by @BrianKempGA and his handpicked "multi-partisan" commission re: new voting system to be recommended to 2019 legislature. This meeting violates Georgia's Open Meeting Laws in an egregious manner. This man is running for Governor! Geez. 2/ The law requires a PUBLIC NOTICE at least 24 hours before the meeting, and a manner for the public to attend an in-person meeting or listen in to a telephone conference of the committee. See their plan for their non-public meeting here. To discuss prior presentations, etc.

GEORGIA! (Particularly Republicans). I was shocked watching the SOS debates today. Take the 1/2 hr. it takes to watch. I don't endorse candidates, but I will call out outrageous positions. It's clear that @VoteBradRaff has been paying NO attention to ... facebook.com/TheAtlantaPres…2/ the national story of GA's failed election security and the need for verifiable voting system is completely lost on him. Deflects and changes the subject, and then recommends barcode balloting instead of hand marked paper ballots!

GA Voters--if you want to protect the Nov. election, isn't it time to have YOUR elevator moment with your county Board of Elections? And your County Commissioners? They can choose paper ballots for Nov. even if it is only Election Day polling places if Early voting is "too hard." 2/ The Court agreed that the touchscreen system is unreliable and flawed. And agreed that there is no law requiring it. Counties are free to use paper ballots. Court agreed that DREs violate constitutional rights. Why should your county violate your voting rights???

1/ GA Voters, If you live in one of the 125 counties with only one early voting site, your county has NO EXCUSE to fail to adopt paper ballots in November! Demand that your local officials do so and honor your constitutional rights! Ck. your county here. mbernhard.com/ev.pdf2/ The Court ruled that there is no law to prevent counties from moving to paper ballots, and that paper ballots should be used as soon as possible. ASAP is now for most counties! There is no excuse for using machines that are unconstitutional for election officials' convenience.

1/ GA voters planning to vote a mail absentee ballot--Be sure to protect your vote this way--
a) Keep a copy of your application for a mail ballot. Sign it carefully with your best signature (needs to match your records and ballot envelope after you vote.)
(See thread) 2/ Track the progress of your application on mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do 3/ Put your ballot in secure place when it arrives. Don't lose it. 4/ Print sample ballot to make tentative decisions/notes --mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
5/Carefully mark your ballot when you vote

1/ "We don't need no stinkin' paper ballots," GA election officials seem to say.
Let's run a continuing thread of their ludicrous excuses. Please contribute with your own entries! 2/ David Burge of Fulton Cty. Bd's excuse for not wanting paper ballots takes the prize!! It's the old "pizza stain," excuse. 🍕🗳️ See thread.
1/Election officials repeatedly claim bad guys can't access voting machines in the real world (only in hacking labs, they say), but my personal observation shows that is a lie. See thread below. First see picture of "tamper-evident" seals on the machines stored in public places. 2/ Yesterday at @defcon I watched a guy with one day's experience hack such "tamper evident" seals in less than 4 seconds!

1/ @BrianKempGA 's office did not like our allegation that their on-line schedules from the May 22 primary showed 242% voter turnout in Mud Creek in Habersham coming out of their voting system data. It has been posted on SOS site since May 25. Here's the screen shot from May. 2/ So SOS apparently told @markniesse that we are wrong. He then accused @McClatchyDC of not verifying for themselves the facts laid out in our motion or in the sworn testimony in the exhibits. Our statements of SOS on-line data was verifiable, --until this morning. Changed! 🤔

@BrianKempGA pressured to take down the links to his campaign from the official state website. I think that the follower who asked us @CoalitionGoodGv to check it out can be credited with making it happen. See thread and stories below.
GA ACTION ALERT!!-Altho' this is last minute notice--Your county Elec. Bd. is likely meeting TOMORROW (Mon.) to certify 7/24/18 results. Go to meeting to speak up in public comment session and ask them for paper ballots in November! See thread below for details. 1/ 2/ County Boards of Elections have the authority to order paper ballots if they determine the touchscreen machines to be "impractical" or "impossible" to use. There are MANY reasons they are "impractical" to use in Georgia. I will post letter later today with the legal reference.

Oh my! @AJC publishing op-ed by former SOS Cathy Cox. She misinforms public "bigly" about paper ballots, which are considered the modern gold standard. She needs to update her knowledge. All voting system computer scientists disagree with her claims. 1/ myajc.com/news/opinion/o…2/ She is talking about punch card systems and ancient technology, ---not what is in use today in other states. There should never be a computer between the voter and his ballot.

Cobb County Georgia Voters---please attend the 7pm Commissioners meeting and support our request for paper ballots in the November election. Here is the letter we sent them. See thread for details of meeting logistics. myemail.constantcontact.com/County-Commiss…2/
It is fine to just come to support if you don't want to speak publicly. But if you feel comfortable just going to the podium and saying something like, "We want you to protect our votes with paper ballots in November," --that's great.

Georgia voters---It's up to YOU--engaged citizens--to convince your LOCAL county officials to adopt paper ballots for November. You know the reasons that GA's paperless voting system is unfit for running November's election. State officials are ignoring the security ...1/🇺🇸🇺🇸
2/ of your ballot for their own self-serving reasons. @BrianKempGA could decertify the machines. He won't. The State Election Board won't even meet in the face of this crisis. (We are petitioning them). But your county commissioners OR your county board of elections can do it!

GA SOS @BrianKempGA released this huge lie in the wake of Mueller's 12 Russian indictments. Kemp lies to mislead GA voters about the election security failures under his management. Don't let him mislead re: election security and high risk. cc: @CaseyCagle@staceyabrams 1/ 2/ Kemp's own staff and agents at KSU acknowledged that the central election server was compromised, and left open to anonymous malicious users for a long time. See their own words from FOIA'd emails.

See what obstruction of election transparency looks like. Hall Cty Georgia has set the new standard for stonewalling and obstruction. Despite known serious discrepancies in the voting machine results tape, Hall Cty is denying candidates' and public's right to see the tape. 1/ 2/ It began weeks ago when public wanted answers as to why the voting machine tape posted on the precinct door omitted 9 races and lost votes as reflected in this picture and examined by 3 eyewitnesses on election night.

GA voters take note! -- Hall County (Gainesville) election officials block access and won't let public see election machine tape with erroneous results. Story in this thread. Picture is Precinct 10, Hall County 5/22/18 election night. 1/ 2/ I've been asking by email since 6/30 to see this tape posted on door of Candler precinct on election night. @ScissorRunner33 has been asking Hall County on the phone, in writing, in person (twice) and Hall County officials won't produce the tape. cc: @AlanaForGA

Georgia Voters--- GA elex. officials have pattern of destroying records when those records contain questionable information. See the facts in our motion to issue a subpoena in DeKalb County after they purposely overwrote electronic records on two voting machines that contained 1/
2/ key evidence of wrong ballots being issued to voters voting on the touchscreen machines. This is a serious problem and changes the results of elections. (See the reference to the mess in Habersham Cty.)
A voter in DeKalb told us that the touchscreen machine issued the wrong
