Good morning everyone,

This is such an important day I could hardly sleep. I was up in the middle the night thinking about all the survivors stories I read this week. Millions & millions of women who’ve been raped, abused, harassed, intimidated and degraded. I shed a few tears. I keep coming back to the same thought. The attitude of the Republican Party, of the entrenched corrupt members of power, all these sick (mostly) old (mostly) white men is this:

“Fuck you. We get to abuse you.”

It’s that simple.

There's nothing wrong with Elon Musk smoking weed on TV.

What's wrong here is that hundreds of thousands of black man are currently rotting in jail for far less. Despite using marijuana at same rate as white people, black people are ARRESTED for marijuana at 3X rate of white people AND face much harsher sentencing.

6.7 million people, mostly men, were under correctional supervision in 2015—more than were enslaved in antebellum America.

Senator Cory Booker says he will release the confidential emails HIDDEN by the Republican Party to expose that they and Kavanaugh are LYING, even if it means he is ousted from the Senate. It can't be overstated how much the addition of two black leaders, Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, have changed the entire tone of this hearing.

They are brilliant, on-task, challenging the unspoken power dynamics and not here for the bullshit.

A president who knows nothing about economics started a trade war which hurt farmers so he put them on welfare with money he's borrowing from the countries he started the trade war with. So instead of PROFITING off the sale of American food to China, Trump's trade policy has the United States PAYING INTEREST to China while US farmers become dependent on the government because they aren't SELLING food to China.

1. Why did the sudden switch by the Trump campaign to the upper midwest occur THE SAME WEEK as the data was stolen?

2. Why was the Trump campaign strategy of voter suppression EXACTLY THE SAME as Russia's? @NateSilver538 Just look at the evidence:

The Trump campaign clearly had contact w Russia. The Russians clearly knew what strategy data suggested would be most effective.

Are you honestly suggesting the Trump campaign (behind by 4% on 9/1/16) turned down the data bc it would've been IMMORAL?

We aren't talking enough about the fact that today we found out that the Russian government stole the identities of 500,000 American voters AND hacked a company used to VERIFY voter registration.

Trump only won by 70,000 votes in 3 states. So many unanswered questions:

1. What did the Russians DO with the identities of these 500,000 Americans?

2. Did they use the voter registration software to KICK VOTERS OFF THE ROLLS?

3 Did this happen in multiple states?

4. If so, DOESN'T THAT MAKE THE ELECTION ILLEGITIMATE?

In the past decade net migration from Mexico is NEGATIVE 1,000,000

Meaning, over a million more people have returned to Mexico than have arrived in the United States from Mexico

The idea of an influx “crisis” IS A LIE.
