If Donald had a brain & wasn't terribly Islamophobe, he would pick @realZalmayMK (R) as the Secretary of State. Mr. Khalilzad was George W Bush's ambassador to Afghanistan/Iraq/UN. Unlike many W folks, he's less of a war hawk & knows the region more than most other Republicans. The other day, I was listening to a @INTLSpyCast interview with @MicheleRigAssad-- an ex-CIA operator who talked about sexism within @CIA that how CIA would pick clueless white men for the Middle East missions over her who speaks Arabic fluently & studied the region for years.
