Your child is most likely still trans, but they've come to learn that you cannot be trusted and that LYING IS SAFER than telling you the truth. While some children might be trying to figure out their gender and realize they're cis, if a child comes out to you and you tell them you don't support them and make their living situation hostile and toxic, they will quickly learn that your love is conditional.

Next time I have someone asking why people don't seek out medical care until it's almost too late I'm just going to bury them in all the doctors bills and collections notices. If we keep up with the issues we go broke or we are sent to collections, so we're stuck playing this fucked up game of how long can I put this off?

So I want to discuss the topic of #ROGD that is being mentioned in #ROGDWEEEK2018.

I realized I was trans when I was around 8-10 years old. Until puberty hit, I was able to justify the difference between my body and my brother's body as us just being born different. 1/ But when puberty hit, it was like everything about myself betrayed who I was. I was growing breasts, I started my period, I started looking more feminine.

Up until my first period, I was able to justify and deal with being trans. When it happened, dysphoria hit with it. 2/

#WhitenessToldMe that only bad people are arrested or detained by police. Reality showed me how bullshit that was when a cop made my husband lie on the ground with his hands behind his head because he "looked suspicious." We were literally just walking home from the minute mart down the road, yet this cop felt that my husband was suspicious and needed to be not only frisked, but made to lie on the ground face down while the cop ran his name.

The vagina is internal, if you can see someone's vagina "hanging out", they need to see a doctor because that's a prolapse.

And no, I'm not going to listen to the "good cop" bullshit. There is no such thing as a good cop so long as they all swear an oath to uphold laws that violate the rights of a large portion of the population.

Us trans men do ask that people not refer to stuff like that as specifically male, and I know I personally am constantly requesting people stop constantly using penis size as a bash against men because that bashes on me.

The problem is that when I bring it up to men doing it, they generally listen to me and either stop or apologize for it. Cis women however, tend to get really annoyed that I'm asking them to stop due to how it affects trans men, and we then wind up with hours long discussions...

So....I've decided to go through various TERFs and TEFs that I've blocked and compile a list of "clues" and "warning signs" that someone might be a TERF/TEF.

Obviously a quick check of their TL will generally give them away, but these are for "quick glance" checks. 1) "Old School Lesbo" is one to check, especially when paired with 2) "Before the T got added to LGB" or 3) 80s gender bending.

Ok, so here's my issues with these two responses. Bottom response first:
Saying this continues to uphold and keep the status quo that harms men (cis and trans). This gives fuel to TERF's lie that trans women are just men who want attention/things to be easy. Even though that is an outright lie, stuff like this gives them "sound bytes" to use and to twist to fit their narrative.

Small rant:
If you're going to talk about how trans positive you are / how supportive you are of trans people...
STOP FORGETTING ABOUT TRANS MEN!
Seriously, I am happy my sisters are being told they're supported, but we need support too.
1 This isn't some "What about the men?" bullshit either. This is about people who are constantly glossed over (unless they pass or somehow get famous), who are stuck dealing with female issues even when they aren't women, and who are too often silenced when they speak up.
