As most of us expected, Brett Cavanaugh was confirmed as the 114th Supreme Court Justice.

After a particularly contentious confirmation process rife with rumor, innuendo and salacious accusations: largely described “palace intrigue” in the mass market media. The notable decline in decorum with regard to judicial nominees within the united states senate has not gone unnoticed.
The correspondents were discussing whether there was a need to fundamentally change the senate or the Judicial confirmation process at least.

@JohnJamesMI I've written thoughts on a few of your campaign points;

🔹Healthcare
🔹Criminal Justice Reform
🔹GOP abandoned the inner cities

🤣 That's hilarious. So this clown chimes in with this snarky comment. The irony is, it is she that is the partisan hack that doesn't know what she's talking about.
I noted Holder to be first cabinet official held in contempt of congress (fact BTW) I promptly respond, using partisan sources, her partisan sources... @nytimes and @politico to show her her error. I love when cocky idiots step to me, it's great!

A concern my father expressed with the Michigan election... and he has a point.

Given it's not exclusive, however, this proposal will bring every beatnik leftist wanna be kid to the poles in droves... I'm not knocking it... I probably support this and had a living off the care giver laws. I am watching the small guy getting run over and people that sold major wieght for years become "legitimized" taking over much of the industry here.

@JohnJamesMI rocking ya out until election day. 👍🦅🗽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

For God & County! However, I don't really wear ball caps anymore (good for that pic) ... Mainly the #MAGA stays on my armoire. 🇺🇸 But is on hand for special events. Procured from the Washington MI rally.

@SenStabenow has been a lawn ornament in the senate for 18 years. The upper chamber gnome. That's a plenty long career. Let's get her a gold watch and send her back home.

Vote @JohnJamesMI for senate!

Battle tested. Private sector approved.

#LetsFlyMI
johnjamesforsenate.com Our state needs some fresh blood in the senate. We've been stale and old. A proven leader with a track record of success is just was we need in this pivotal time!
Fellow Michiganders, I'm implore you to get out on November 6th and vote @JohnJamesMI into the senate!

We are not allowed to doubt Dr Ford in any way. We are to take her at face value... I'll just state the obvious.
I don't find her to be very believable. I will stop short of calling her a liar, however, her account is extremely Inconsistent. The whole circumstance is suspect. First and foremost, for all this FBI investigation talk, the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction would be the Montgomery County Sheriff's office; why have they not been contacted by Dr Ford or her attorneys?

#KavanaughHearings has so far proven this is just delay tactics by Democrats.
Dr Ford clearly has the ability to board air craft... She couldn't do this Monday because she had to drive to the hearing she factually flew to. 😒 Said didn't understand offer to be understand the offer to be interviewed at her home... If we are to believe that, sounds like a failure of her lawyers. So surprise Katz was suggested by DiFi...

Given this is a much more trivial subject to exemplify, but the sentiment is the same.
I bought new tires from Bell Tire. Within a year they had dry rotting on the sidewalls!
This was also at a time I was a very busy brick and mortar retail store owner. I stopped at Bell Tire to complain and show them. Yes this is a warranty issue. They needed to get with the manufacturer, took my number and assured a follow up.

A couple days later, I get a call saying "we are waiting on whatever, we haven't forgot about you sir, blah blah"

I've been out of the game a while, #SOFR set to replace the #LIBOR.
Wow. This actually makes some sense to me. Secured Overnight Financing Rate is recorded though the Federal Reserve. I haven't looked much into it, seems very similar to the prime rate from what I have seen as of yet.

HA-HA-HA! @realDonaldTrump and #Rosenstein have trolled all the the media! Getting many outlets to report absolute fatalities & haven't been talking about #Kavanaugh and the ridiculous developments there yesterday.
Trump and Rod will meet Thursday. What else happens Thursday? Opps.... Just one example of MANY.

Looks like a busy day of retractions today.

The saga continues. These new developments (3 decades ago) follow a pattern, not sexual assault, a pattern of lies and abuse by Democrats and their operatives. Step back and look, it’s too obvious, they can’t help themselves, and they’re laying it on too thick and all wrong When the first thin 36 year old accusation popped up two weeks ago… these “new” 36 year old accusations obviously existed. Right? Absolutely. #MeToo wouldn’t they have piled on right then to lend credibility to Dr Ford?

Please allow me a brief moment to put this Kavanagh issue into proper focus. A thead. If you follow current events, even just casually, you probably noticed the Kavanagh nomination has been unprecedentedly pushed back on and obstructed in any and every possible way.

Donald J Trump the 45th president of these United States. Only 44 men in our history have ever held the office. An exclusive group of esteemed individuals. President Trump is proving himself to be among the greatest in this exclusive alumni. Interestingly enough only 39 of the 44 stood for election and won the office. Trumps unlikely electoral victory stunned many, but not all. A brief recollection of an individuals perspective.

People used to say to me, Obama is so stupid or crazy. I would reply, no he's not. It only seems that way looking though the prism of our ideals, clearly he has different goals.
A "fundamental change" that we conservatives didn't want...therefore seems crazy or stupid to us. That doesn't make Obama insane or unfit for office, by way of mental capacity at least. That's where the #25thAmendment comes into play.
Same thing applies to Trump. Democrats don't like what Trump is doing... So he must be insane 🙄

Since a little piece of plastic broke... I had to buy the full assembly.

This is what broke... That little tab, shown on new, unbroken unit.

Without that little piece of plastic, my truck is a paper wieght. Crazy, but true. My cats think they have a new toy...

For the Merrick Garland fanatics still thinking somehow that empty appointment is relevant,
allow me to help you out. First and foremost “elections have consequences”.
Not just 2016, but that too. Had Democrats not lost the Senate in the 2014 midterms… Garland would likely be an Associate Justice today. In fact, there is no doubt at all.

On April 4th, 1789, 57 days after the Constitution of the United States went into effect, George Washington was sworn in or inaugurated as the first President of the United States. After 2 terms he famously set the precedent of leaving office. With a slight modification, rather than carrying on to the date of his inauguration, he chose to pass the baton to his successor on March 4th, 1797.

Following my train of thought 🚂 its odd how these things can work. Observe:
My dad text me: To which I replied something to the effect of Mr Wizard, due to the reaction in know occurs pouring water with baking soda in it on that kind of corrosion.
I immediately jump to "we need another Tommy"
