Today, Alhamdulillah, the award I wrote about two weeks ago, which had been previously rescinded was reinstated.

Last night, I was scheduled to receive an award for my community building work from an interfaith organization. *However, earlier this week, the organization rescinded my award because of my vocal support of Palestinian human rights.*
When I received a call in March notifying me that I had been selected as one of the organization’s 2018 awardees, I was honored. I accepted the invitation, and my name was publicly announced as one of their honorees.
