Theresa May “I’m unashamed to say that foreign aid must work for the UK.”

Pandering, once again, to the right-wingers. The sort of people who, if they saw an old lady fall over, would ask “Before I help you up, what’s in it for me?”

What mean, selfish nation we’re becoming. What *a* mean, selfish nation we’re becoming.

.@BarryGardiner effectively saying on #r4today that we have to trash our country with Brexit to stop right-wing xenophobes from rioting. FFS.

What is the point of @UKLabour? Absolute joke. Perhaps @BarryGardiner needs reminding of the way that decent British people deal with fascists: we don’t cower and let them get their way, we fight them and their ugly, racist, xenophobic ideology.

Oh, Nadine....

You really have to stop your Boris Johnson obsession, it is quite deluded.

Let’s have a look at your claims: Boris delivered the Olympics?

Lord Coe and the British Olympic Association did that, and Ken Livingstone was in charge when the bid went in and was won.

Boris was simply fortunate enough to be in office while they were on.

Brexit options:

1. Remain member of EU
2. Stay in Single Market and Customs Union
3. Leave Single Market and/or Customs Union
4. No deal 1. Remaining a member of the EU allows us a seat at the table in the house - where decisions are made - and we get all the benefits of being a member of the household.

There may be negative aspects of sharing a home, but they are overwhelmingly outweighed by the positives.

My opinion on the HoL has changed quite dramatically in recent years. I'd always been of the opinion that an unelected chamber was terrible, but when I look at the attitude and behaviour of many in the Lords, especially on Brexit, I half-wish they were running the country. The very fact that they aren't democratically elected means that the Lords are (in many cases) putting their country and its people before party loyalties. Whereas in the HoC, far too many are scared of the whips and damaging their own career prospects.

According to Horseshoe Theory, ‘the far-left and the far-right, rather than being at opposite and opposing ends of a linear political continuum, in fact closely resemble one another, much like the ends of a horseshoe’

Applied to 20 years of British politics, this is how it looks ‘But Damon, your shit meme doesn’t look like a horseshoe! There are no ends!’

Absolutely. That’s what the referendum did. The far-left and the far-right weren’t just close to each other, they ended up touching, with Galloway and Farage singing from the same hymn sheet.

‘Jacob Rees-Mogg to fling fish from trawler on Thames in protest for fishermen 'betrayed' by May's Brexit deal’

I want my country back 🤦🏼‍♂️
