I used Twitter to vent for over a year. it was the only way to get out my fear, frustration, and anger. Then, almost 6 months ago, I decided to try to do something. Went to a Democratic primary debate for my congressional district, #NJ11 Met all the candidates, but one stood out for me, both because I liked what she said and the kindness she personally showed me that night. Her name is @MikieSherrill and she inspired me to finally get involved.

SHORT THREAD. I know the idea of walking around and knocking on doors can be intimidating for some of you. Hell, I was literally shaking at my first house. That said, with practice, I have become pretty damn good at it. It has also shown me that there is nothing more effective. Phonebanking helps, as does things like postcards to voters, but talking face to face is our greatest tool to help our candidates elected. I'm out doing it every weekend for @MikieSherrill.
