That @JulianAssange—a journalist and publisher—is a political prisoner
of the U.S. government and its allies, indicates that his work is both important and relevant, and deepens the resolve of my support for him and his organization, 1/9 in the same way that any political prisoner anywhere in the world, held arbitrarily and in contempt of two U.N. rulings, would indicate to me that such a person threatens the interests of the powerful and therefore deserves my support and friendship. 2/9
