My cat is sick and I leave tomorrow for a four day trip, this is so stressful 💔💔💔 It's almost certainly just a feline herpes flare up. We've been through a couple of these before, but this one is affecting his appetite and behavior so I'm worriedddd.

Stitching update, plus a bonus pic of my needle minders. 💜❎ #CrossStitch #WashingtonDC a half-finished cross stitch of Washington DC monuments, done in pastelsneedle minders, which are magnets stuck to my cross stitch to hold needles. they are: a double skull, a purple zombie hand holding a slice of pizza, a blue sparkly cootie catcher, and Kermit sipping tea And these supplies for a GIGANTIC project came in the mail, but I'm waiting on one more thing before I start stitching. It's going to be about 2.5 feet tall, with every square stitched. It will almost certainly take a couple years to finish.

Allegations of Trump's involvement in underage sex parties are nothing new. I'm frustrated seeing people shocked and scandalized by this now, instead of two years ago.
huffingtonpost.com/lisa-bloom/why… I guess because it wasn't getting mainstream news coverage again, so BBC covering it feels like a scoop. Perhaps with more women corroborating the stories about these parties, the original allegations will be taken more seriously (lol yeah right)

For some reason @googlephotos is making new videos out of my cat pictures every five minutes and sending me push notifications about each one???

I'm not complaining Collages, too. I just got six push notifications in a ten minute period. I love my cats, but this feels like a bug, @googlephotos

My patience is done. It's over. If you're a man coming into my mentions to defend men like Henry Cavill after his gross comments, or something similar? Fuck right off. There used to be tactics I wouldn't use, like quote-tweeting smaller accounts. My gloves are off. Be forewarned. And honestly, if an account is saying some fucked-up shit, and I quote tweet them, I invite my followers to let that person know just how fucked up their comments are. I don't care any more. I don't care if you've said nice things to me before, and your point is "he means well."

There are a few men I've been muting and soft-blocking because 1. they're constantly up in my mentions like some weird cheerleading squad who don't really add anything to the conversation and 2. make me feel uncomfortable...IDK why I haven't just been blocking. Now I will. If you're a dude I don't know IRL who acts overly-familiar on here, don't be surprised. And hopefully learn something from it.

I couldn't sleep so I came outside to watch the sunrise and there are dolphins playing by the shore (can you see one?) There are a couple of very good puppers out here, but other than that, the beach is nearly empty

Harassment (and discrimination) via code review seems to be a pattern I'm hearing of increasingly frequently. It's something I've personally experienced. And an engineer at Facebook found out that women's code receives more comments and delays. Whether caused by bias or outright harassment, this makes it harder to complete our work as productively and effectively as our peers, which then reflects back on us as a negative performance issue. It's a cycle that unfairly affects members of underrepresented groups in tech.
