1/ It’s almost September. We’re in the home stretch of the midterms and working class Americans are feeling the positive affects of the Trump economic boom. In a survey performed by Harvard-Harris 85% of blue collar workers see their lives headed in the right direction. 2/ These blue collar workers see that things are better off for themselves, 55%, and a whopping 88% say their children will have a better future than they will. It’s not just the economy that is booming, its confidence.

1/ A thread on how Trump will ensure Republicans hold the House in 2018. I say how because it’s as much about the operational and tactical as it is about the message. The special elections are over and Republicans won 8/9. 2/ 89% is a pretty good percentage considering how much money, time, energy and significance that Democrats invested in each of these races. realclearpolitics.com/articles/2018/…

1/ Gonna write a quick thread cuz I have no time but this is so crucial.

Read the pics. This is what corruption and manufactured evidence to justify surveillance that is outside the appropriate function of FISA looks like. 2/ The called him Source #1 and never revealed his bias. In fact they only shared his positives. They manipulated the court.

1/ Excellent article by @ByronYork.
Other than Manafort, Mueller has handed off all of his major cases that would seem to help make a collusion case. Seemingly undercutting the idea he will make such a grand claim against any American (Trump).

washingtonexaminer.com/news/why-is-mu… 2/ The fact that Mueller publicly indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers indicated he has no intention of ever prosecuting anyone. If he had intended to, he would have sealed the indictments and attempted to secure at least one of the defendants. The charges were political.

1/ There was no further evidence put forward that Russians hacked than was previously known.

Yet Rod jumps in the pool. If the speculation is right that this was all cover after the fact and the spearfish was a non Russian entity or a CIA operation then Rod has trapped himself. 2/ Because if later it can be shown that it wasn’t the Russians it makes the last 2 years of investigation being managed by Rod look like a railroad and a fake.

1/ Here’s a question. If POTUS (Nixon) was required to turn over “private” recordings made in the WH shouldn’t FBI agents be required to turn over “private” work related messages? 2/ This is where Huber and age and jury comes in. In the IG report it refers to a denied request to receive “private” emails but the texts clearly show using those coms was tactical and designed to avoid oversight. Huber is very likely to subpoena those records.

1/ This clip dovetails many aspects of what I’ve been speculating for quite some time. I think it makes sense to update my views in light of the IG report. Note he says he has purposely stayed out of DOJ decisions to avoid the optics that he is interfering. 2/ It’s been clear to me since the beginning that Trump knew Sessions would recuse or at a minimum that there was a high potential he would. In the environment he appointed Rosenstein AAG. Not a crony, not an ally. No, a non partisan independent actor.

1/ Brilliant Op-Ed by Christopher Buskirk. There’s a Red Wave coming. The energy for that wave has many sources but the primary source is a desire for a collective American identity, a community characterized by fraternal bonds and mutual responsibility.

nytimes.com/2018/06/08/opi… 2/ This is what the punditry misses. They see the primaries as an opportunity for Democrats to stop Trump and Trumpism. However, they overlook the opportunity for the right to redefine the Republican Party long term and ensure it never returns to the globalism of the Bushes.

1/ I’ve been saying for a while now that the entire counterintelligence investigation arose from a psy op designed to deflect from Hillary’s server and turn Trump into a Manchurian candidate. Everything will lead to her because she created the entire thing. It’s a hoax. 2/ The conspiracy was conceived in 2014. It’s first step in laying the groundwork for what would follow in 2015/2016? Change the rules and the limits on money that could be funneled to law firms working on behalf of political campaigns for “legal fees”.

1/ @jr_staves makes the point that Papadopoulos helps make Hillary guilty not Trump.

George’s claim? The Russians said they had Hillary’s emails. So how did the Australians supposedly state his claim? Team Trump had inside info about the DNC hack. This change was purposeful. 2/ Redirecting away from Hillary’s emails and toward the DNC hack and Trump having inside information was engineered as a solution to the fundamental problem for Hillary. There was Top Secret information on her server. If it had been accessed she’s done. foxnews.com/politics/2016/…

1/ “FBI Director James Comey briefed President-elect Donald Trump on a two-page summary of an unverified dossier”

That Comey did this and used the descriptor “unverified” has a new meaning and significance when views through the lens of the memo.

thehill.com/blogs/blog-bri… 2/ Originally this could have been viewed as blackmail or a threat to the President. Now it seems like Comey was self reporting on the existence of FISA and that’s it’s basis was “unverified”. For everyone involved in the dossier his descriptor had to be an “Oh shit!” moment.

1/ I hadn’t understood the AG succession plan. @EricColumbus opened my eyes. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. It adds a meaningful layer to one of my principle theories. Trump nominated Rosenstein intentionally and with the full understanding Sessions would recuse. 2/ To quickly reprise, @realDonaldTrump wants to get a clean bill of health. Who gives it to him and how they arrive at the conclusion is key. That’s why Mueller has investigated everything including Trump’s finances. Trump wants him to.

1/ @DennisPrager acknowledges he misjudged @realDonaldTrump. He missed what I argued throughout 2016. Every time Trump got into a controversial fight and engaged the media fearlessly and without reservation it didn’t hurt him because it reinforced his brand, he would fight! 2/ It was his fearlessness in engaging the media that would make him a great CONSERVATIVE President. Democrats and their media enablers use the SJW logic to thwart all attempts at conservative governance. Trump’s “temperament” isn’t a flaw it’s the source of his accomplishments.

1/ A self-centered thread. I’ve long been frustrated by the illegal immigrant dynamic. When Democrats passed Obamacare I was certain they would turn to immigration reform aka “amnesty” but Brown replaced Kennedy, then the midterms happened and that window seemed to close. 2/ After Obama won re-election, Rubio thought he’d pave his way to the Presidency by reviving “amnesty”. Of his failures the biggest was thinking the American people would trust Obama to secure the border. Of course the Gang of 8 bill failed and the window seemed to close again.

This break up with Steve roots back to the early days of the admin. Bannon thought he was running the White House for Trump. When overruled Steve lashed out, started leaking & attacking Jared & McMaster. Trump knew he had a problem but had to be careful how he destroyed Bannon. Steve Bannon actually believed he uniquely represented the #MAGA policy agenda. I tried telling people like @stranahan that #MAGA was a Trump creation. That Jared helped drive Trump to victory and was as much #MAGA as anyone. But these people are ideologues, purists.

1/ A few observations on Bannon developments. First and most fascinating is how wrong the #FakeNews was on Steve. He’s not Trump’s brain or conscience. This whole thing exposes just how wrong they all are but have they acknowledged that? No. Which is why they have no legitimacy. 2/ I just heard @davidaxelrod say on @CNN that this episode coming on the heels of good news for Trump is devastating. I mean these people are so wrong so often it’s stunning. That is literally the exactly wrong take on this.

1/ @MZHemingway it’s important we start to come to terms with the reality that the dossier wasn’t just used to secure a wiretap. It was ordered/developed for that purpose. DOJ/FBI outsourced the work to Fusion GPS. Now let’s get into the implications of this NYT report... 2/ @MZHemingway says: “I think it’s funny that after a year of being told the dossier was the center, now we are told no it was Papadopoulos. I mean a guy no one ever heard of and in a weird way it’s actually a worse case then saying the dossier was the launch to the probe.”

1/ This was what the @FBI was working on from January through June 2016 so @Comey could give his now famous press conference and deliver the soft land @HillaryClinton needed to continue her run as Democrat nominee. They need to secure a retraction from Guccifer 1.0 2/ The timeline makes it clear that securing access to Guccifer 1.0 and securing his agreement to deny accessing the server was crucial. Otherwise @HillaryClinton would be guilty of exposing state secrets and intent would be irrelevant.

1/ @FBI paid for the dossier and used it attain FISA.

The narrative that they were innocently trying to verify the dossier to ensure protection of national security has been completely debunked. 2/ The FBI/DOJ became aware that Trump had a server that connected daily to a Russian bank. They became convinced that if they could access the server they could prove that Trump was a manturian candidate. Only one problem...

1/ Btw the “bait” theory, that DJT purposely baited Obama/Clinton into taking corrupt actions, has been strongly reinforced by the revelations since the @GenFlynn plea. 2/ Trump created an environment that looked like he was fighting a backchannel proxy war. Clinton had Ukraine and Trump had Russia. I mean he flew around with Flynn, hired Manafort and was a Roger Stone creation. At every step he played up the Russia angle.

1/ Mueller couldn’t have picked a more politically compromised team. If he’s trying to nail trump he’s unbelievably incompetent. Which raises the question, why did Rosenstein allow it?

To my mind the only plausible explanation is there is an ulterior investigatorial motive. 2/ Now we find out the Judge that took @GenFlynn plea has recused? Like he was there to make everyone comfortable during a certain phase of the process. My best current interpretation? We just witnessed one of the largest political corruption sting operations in American history.
