What makes this a bit more interesting is the fact that both Marc Elias and Michael Sussman were interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee as part of the Russia Investigation. Those interviews are set for release.

The reason for this is simple.

Steele had been terminated by the FBI in early November 2016 after his 2nd leak to the media.
