Today's story is about my encounter with the Hantu Mak Cik Cleaner At MidValley This happened a few years back in 2015 when i was working for an International School. I was assigned to set up a booth for the Private & International School Fair (PISF). I clearly remembered that it was on a Saturday. I was told to set up the booth on Friday itself

OLD KARAK HIGHWAY.

When you pass by that highway, you would feel as though there are people watching your every move. Even more you would feel it when you are driving alone. Here are a list of ghosts that you may encounter 1. The old proton saga that is abandoned at the road side.
I saw that car with 2 people in it. A mother and an infant. The infant had red-eyes and the cry was very high-pitched as the mother looks possessed and stares towards u. DONT LOOK them in the eye.

GOVERNMENT DOCTORS ABUSE

A fresh discussion on an old topic
Like every problems in this world, the factors involved are intrinsic and extrinsic
Intrinsic being the doctors and the system
Extrinsic being the patients and society 1. Doctors
Generally doctors are efficient.Generally. But because of maldistribution city/rural or doctors pulling strings (parents' supports to be in specific hosp) or stunts (unplanned EL/MC,regular cig breaks), the services at certain clinics/hospitals will be affected

As an employee, does your parents help to speak to employer on your behalf?
OR
As parents, do you speak to your child's employer on his/her behalf?

If YES, in what instances? The result of poll
93% says NO

But somehow for NEW DOCTORS, a few of them still need their parents to voice out for them

MALE GYNAE SYOK TENGOK CB
(thread)

This is a Pandora's box you're opening

First, you must define what you meant by "enjoy".Enjoying with happiness, enjoying with lust or enjoying like it is an exciting thing?

Honestly, female gynae enjoy looking at cibais, as well Btw, I don't stand looking at cibais (Hokkien for female vaginas, actually rarely seen male vaginas) all day. I usually sit down and slowly consume the view for complete examination. OK, I am giving a wrong picture of things

Personally, no horrifying tales from me for caving.
But hiking, I can relate to climbing up slippery tracks and being lost.
I had climbed a few hills and mountains myself and the scariest so far would be in Bukit Perdana, Batu Pahat. Went there being guided by an acquiantance who is a supposedly hiking pro.
Basically, we all went there after work, climbing at 515pm
Initial route up was tough as it had just rained & we went thru some slippery rocks. The rest area has a swing, a few hammocks &a Malaysian flag.

Jam 12pm, hari Isnin.

Mengenai @MRTMalaysia terdapat isu berbangkit bahawa ianya membazir kerana kos tinggi dan ridership rendah. Train kosong katanya. Train kosong would be exaggerated I believe.

Jadi, adakah isunya kita memang tak perlukan MRT, atau sebenarnya soal kos? Public transport-wise, it starts with us walking down the street. Dari jalan kaki, kita naik basikal, kendian naik bas, kendian naik train.

Malangnya, negara dibina melalui jalanraya dan kereta sebelum dan selepas kemerdekaan.

Maka, kemerdekaan sebenar bermula dengan kita.

Do you guys know what STATELESSNESS is???

Let's have a discussion tonight on Statelessness topic.. shall we?? What is STATELESSNESS??

In International law, a stateless person is someone who is "not considered as a national by any state under the operation of its law"

Have you ever met anyone who is stateless before??
eg : someone who doesn't have any identification and cant have any.

Kembara Bumi Pedalaman:
Mengajar dipedalaman membuka mata aku tentang banyak benda. Budak-budak kat sini cukup naive. Benda yang kecil yang kau buat pun dah cukup untuk buat diorg seronok. Ketepikan perbezaan kaum agama. Itu yang penting. Jangan hadkan korang punya mindset Ni aku ajar Tahun 1. Buat origami burung. Setel buat origami, ajak pergi padang. Dah kenapa budak2 ni ajak pergi padang. Rupanya nak cari makan untuk burung ni😅😅

Aku pun ikut je la. Pergi celah2 pokok cari cacing. Lepas tu ajak berlumba. Pukul 12 tghari gais. Lencun jugak la

How's everyone? Hope u had a nice dinner/buka puasa meal. If u are like me with no social life, then we can start another discussion.

Non medical related lah, dont worry. 😂 My friend doc @timahkinta tweeted something a few days ago (sorry cant find his reply now) but it goes something like;

Do Malaysians still identify themselves as Malaysians, after staying in Singapore for a certain period?

U all have been waiting for a MY vs SG topic right? 😜

Ok I better start tonights discussion, I think I might bebel a bit longer than yesterday.

First, to show the results of both polls yesterday.

Not surprising, but still interesting to see it. Generally, both polls reveal the same results, though sample size is quite a big difference.

A resounding NO to choosing a doctor as a career.

That bad ah guys? 😂

Ok managed to finish most of my work today & I have some time to tell my next cerita.

Today my cerita is about the time I when I just got posted to Nephrology. I was only about a week old in the dept & all new MOs start with rotation in the ward.(We have a dedicated Nephro ward) Since I was only a week old, of course I just hung around trying to learn. The team was doing rounds (never ending, I tell u) & we stopped at a particular patient.

As we were discussing about her, her SPO2 (blood oxygen saturation) begun to drop, like rapidly.

Ok. 9.45pm, let's start.

This is the result of the poll I made yesterday. Tonight no cerita lah, only some educational discussion.

I assumed Twitterjaya's population is skewed to the younger folks, might explain why 'never been yet' had the most votes. Let's clarify what r health checkups 1st.

Health checkups r basically screening tests one do, to catch a potential disease early. (disease or condition without any symptoms)

Not discussing abt ppl with regular checks with a known condition.

Everybody doing alright? Weather looks a little gloomy here actually. Just finished reading a batch of journals, didnt fall asleep so thought I'll start another cerita, short one, I promise. I was reading something on mortality rates of a surgical procedure & would like to cerita about something all doctors go through but all will have a different experience.

Death.

Here are the results of the poll I did yesterday. 1,105 votes. Probably not the best sample size but a rough idea what the people think about our healthcare.

Any thoughts before I continue?

I myself would have probably voted "depends on condition" too. Obviously there is no 'correct' answer here, many factors play into how one feel about any healthcare service, be it public or private.

Ok kopi obtained. Time for 2nd cerita.

Since it's Tuesday, I thought I'll continue on the 'a bit of myself part'

Someone asked why did I made the move down south & why administration?

Here is why.

(ini adalah thread 😂😂) Let's dial back a little to my service in Malaysia. As I said, I've worked in the public healthcare for about 9 years.

In this 9 years (including HOship), there were a few hiccups. During my HOship, I took some time off for some personal reasons.

Ok since it's Monday noon (no mood to work), I'll start off with my first cerita, an experience which I hold very dear to my heart.

I would like to share with u the time of the East Coast floods in 2014, specifically in Kelantan.

*ini thread (always wanted to say that 😂) Most of u will remember the EC '14 floods as 1 of the worst. 200,000 ppl were affected, 21 deaths & the effects are still seen today.

Early Dec '14, I was transferred back to Selangor after a year in N9 serving in primary health & placed in the Nephrology Department in H Serdang

Rasa nak sembang about family and the change in the dynamics as a child grows older to be adult. My own observations. My mom is happy and healthy (thank goodness), my father passed on several years ago. I’m the youngest in my family. My bro , the eldest child is almost 50 already. Neither big nor small family. Biasa only. Working class parents.

Then get out there and make it! a couple of years ago some guys asked me how I got into film reviewing. It was mostly by chance. I've always loved movies, my aunt used to take me to the cinemas at weekends as a child where I'd see see films I fell in love with like The Princess Bride , Labyrinth the Disney animated movies and ET, but talking about them was a fun thing to do on @McYapandFries

Tonight's topic is Addiction.

I shall cover the definition, status quo, problem statement, research and facts, and propose a solution.

Hopefully we can learn more about the nature of addiction so we can better help our friends & family in need. Of course we will focus on drug addiction as the object of this topic, but please keep in mind that I intend to start this topic to talk about addictions in general.

To define it loosely, addiction is to be so obsessed about something that you would do anything to get your dose.
