The President and his administration have done a lot to anger me, but as someone who lost her 58-year-old father to cancer he contracted as a result of his exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam, this is by far the biggest slap in the face.

nymag.com/daily/intellig… My dad was in Vietnam at the end of the war, after the US stopped using Agent Orange. He thought he wasn’t at risk for exposure.

Good morning! Day 1 of my trudging through the Russian ad dump is below.

Day 2 coming soon. But first, some observations of what I've read so far: 1. As we knew, the content sought to divide Americans on religious, racial, sexual & other social lines
2. A lot of the ads are positive and *not* divisive, seeking to build community before increasingly large asks (sharing, commenting, showing up to protests IRL)

Goodbye to the rest of my day. Here are all of the Russian ads.
democrats-intelligence.house.gov/facebook-ads/s… One of the first more successful/costly ads, from 2015. Posts promising "updates" (including one about the Charleston shooting) seem to perform better so far. Also notice targeting- Baltimore, Ferguson, and surrounding.
