Britain needs foreign investment, most comes to access the EU. After a hard #Brexit & more so after a no-deal, the UK will need another attraction. The ERG know the answer - taxes slashed on business and wealth and a bonfire of regulations and worker's rights. A #BrexitTaxHaven
So the ERG Tories intend to use a brutal hard #Brexit to hardwire the UK as an ultra-free market economy. And once businesses have become hooked on ultra-low taxes and regulations it will be very difficult to break the dependency.
1/ Vitally need foreign investment has come to the UK because it has been the "gateway to Europe". What happens when the UK becomes a "gateway to nowhere"? The answer is we'll have to slash taxes on business & the rich, and scrap many regulations & workplace rights.
