अथ चैत्त्वमिमं धर्म्यं संग्रामं न करिष्यसि ।
ततः स्वधर्मं कीर्तिं च हित्वा पापमवाप्स्यसि ।।
atha caittvamimaṃ dharmyaṃ saṃgrāmaṃ na kariṣyasi ।
tataḥ svadharmaṃ kīrtiṃ ca hitvā pāpamavāpsyasi ।।

अथ - henceforth, इमं - this, धर्म्यं - dharma, संग्रामं - battle, त्वं - you, न करिष्यसि - if you don’t do, ततः - because of that, स्वधर्मं - your dharma, कीर्तिं च - as well as reputation, हित्वा - will be lost, पापं च - in addition, sins, अवाप्यसि - will be attained
