इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते ।
तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि ।।
indriyāṇāṃ hi caratāṃ yanmano'nuvidhīyate ।
tadasya harati prajñāṃ vāyurnāvamivāmbhasi ।।
इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते ।
तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि ।।

यत् मन: - That mind, चरतां - roaming (in external world), इन्द्रियाणां - indriya-s, अनुविधीयते - confirms/obeys, तत् - that mind, अस्य - for him, प्रज्ञां - buddhi, वायु: - Wind, अम्भसि - waters, नावमिव - ship, हरति - subjugates
