A - My #SocialMediaSanity rules (a thread): 1) If they annoy you, mute them. 2) If they are rude to you, block them. 3) If you like them, follow them. 4) Don't automatically follow back, but discern. 5) Turn off pop up notifications on your phone to limit app time.
B - 6) Take a weekly #SocialMedia Sabbath & don't go on social media for 1 day. Don't announce it, just don't do it. Getting "likes" for taking a break defeats the purpose 7) Don't fight w/ ppl in threads. 8) You're never wrong to be polite, even if the other person is rude.
C - 9) Build digital relationships, but don't expose your personal life too much. Once something is on social media, you can't take it back. Make a deliberate boundary. 10) Don't let social media b the 1st & last thing u check each day - those precious moments should b 4 prayer.
