I know some people call it the special relationship. But that doesn't mean Britain will get a sweetheart deal. Trade policy is not a charity game.

Of course, the British government really wants a deal. But for the US the matter is less urgent. As with Brexit, Britain will be in a substantially weaker bargaining position. Britain needs the US more than the other way around.

Having spent two years remoaning about #brexit I have now quit complaining as I now see there are tremendous opportunities from leaving the European Union which will be embraced globally thread

The great repeal Bill allows ministers to make ammend and unmake law without parliamentary approval meaning a huge #brexitopportunity opportunity for corrupt ministers to apply market mechanisms to political decision making
As a new believer In #brexit I am especially convinced by the doctrine of Marxism lexitism
I see now that the British government has been prevented by the EU from implenting the European social model that exists in France Germany Sweden Denmark the Netherlands and many other EU member States
The EU is to blame for privatisation as is witnessed by the way other European countries retain nationalised industried
