Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past year, you have probably heard about the “School Modernization Referendum.” Here is a great article that summarized what it is. Basically what it does is tell #RVAMayor @LevarStoney to get a plan together (2/25)

to fully fund school infrastructure without raising taxes or publicly state it can’t be done. This was put forward by none other than Paul Goldman and carried primarily by the Richmond Crusade for Voters. The original plan was for Loupassi and Sturtevant to carry (3/25)
Today there was a VA House committee on school safety meeting at Meadowbrook HS in Chesterfield. There has been criticism of this committee as they haven’t had gun control on the table as part of the discussion. (1/6) RVA 🧜🏻♀️
This committee will make a recommendation to the General Assembly at the end of this year for legislation needed in 2019. State legislation is not my expertise by any means but keep your eyes out on media outlets tonight b/c on the agenda today was a scheduled (2/6)
tour of Meadowbrook High School to be given by Donald Green who has been the Safety and Security Manager at Chesterfield County Public Schools since July 2014. Recently there were Facebook posts from Green’s PUBLIC Facebook from 2015 discovered. (3/6)
I think most people know Steve Bannon was at Black Swan books yesterday and a woman confronted him with some choice words triggering the store owner to call the cops. This thread is reality from my perspective. 🧜🏻♀️ #RVA (1/11)
Even outside of the words that have directly come from Bannon’s mouth, he was the executive chairman of Breitbart and declared it the “platform for the alt right.” It is a publication that spreads xenophobic, misogynistic, racist, & generally hateful views.🧜🏻♀️ #RVA (2/11)

Steve Bannon was confronted at Black Swan Books this afternoon, leading the owner to call the police. He also appears to be friends with the owner, who half jokingly said he’ll need Bannon to protect him when the police come to lock up the liberals. No room for nazis in Richmond.
