I’m at #TribFest18 in Austin, an incredible speaker fest you should google if you haven’t heard about. Later this morning @amyklobuchar is speaking. I’ll be here all day & on a couple of panels. I’ll keep it all in this thread so you can mute it if this isn’t your cup of tea. 
I met this incredibly nice man on the way in who tells me Texas will have record voter registration for the midterms including young people & formerly incarcerated people who have regained the right to vote.

At the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin. I’ve hardly slept, my bag got lost, I haven’t showered, I’m about to go see a panel on women in political power and to either break my heart or restore it

I’m at a panel about blue wave vs. tsunami; interesting point from Dave Wasserman - rural areas in Texas have become more GOP, but the suburban areas that voted for Trump were never crazy about him, which is why the GOP reps are fighting for their political lives

At registration I’ve already run into two people I know—a former student who wants to go into publishing marketing (and working the @BookPeople table) & a former Aggie Agora speaker. Also bought @TheRickWilson’s book and hoping to find him irl so he can sign it for me!
