On pense qu’Homo Sapiens est sorti d’Afrique il y a environ 100 000 ans en passant par le Moyen Orient avant de coloniser l’Asie jusqu’à l’Australie (on est en pleine ère glacière : le niveau des océans est 60 à 90 mètres plus bas qu’aujourd’hui.) #Thread
Il y a environ 45 000 ans, il arrive pour la première fois en Europe. C’est (évidemment) un chasseur-cueilleur et on suppose qu’il s’installe dans ces contrées glaciales pour suivre son gibier. C’est le fameux homme de Cro-Magnon.
Sur place, il tombe nez à nez avec un lointain cousin : Neandertal. Lui, ça fait déjà 200 000 ans qu’il vit en Europe sachant qu’on pense qu’il descend d’autres hominidés déjà installés sur zone depuis très très très longtemps (genre 1.8 millions d'années).
