In 1992 the #FBI established a Criminal Justice Information Services Division to consolidate the services provided to other law enforcement and national security agencies. Today CJIS is the largest division in the FBI and based in Clarksburg, WV. #FBI110 fbi.gov/services/cjis
In 1993 a bomb exploded beneath the World Trade Center in #NYC, killing 6 people and injuring over 1,000 others. The #FBI helped uncover evidence from the massive scene which was a nearly 100-foot crater, five-stories deep and several more high. #FBI110 ow.ly/87QC30l6bPs
In 1994 four people were convicted in the bombing, and Ramzi Ahmed Yousef was added to the #FBI Ten #MostWanted Fugitives list. He was arrested in Pakistan in 1995 and also convicted in 1996. #FBI110 ow.ly/w8nT30l6efm
In 1996 @FBICleveland piloted the #InfraGard program to connect the #FBI with private sector, academia, and law enforcement partners to better exchange threat-based information. The program has since been replicated across the country. #FBI110 ow.ly/hrKk30l6gWb
