In 2001, just 10 days after the attacks on 9/11, the #FBI arrested Ana Belen Montes, a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) employee who was indicted for conspiring to deliver U.S. national defense information to Cuba. #FBI110 ow.ly/ZW9530l7aqS

In 2002 @FBIHouston arrested former #Enron CFO Andrew Fastow on charges of fraud and money laundering. Fastow was one of 22 people convicted for actions related to the fraud. #FBI agents conducted 1,800+ interviews and collected 3,000+ boxes of evidence. fbi.gov/history/famous…
In 2002, 400+ #FBI personnel helped identify two men responsible for sniper murders in AL, VA, MD, & DC. FBI intelligence analyst Linda Franklin was among 10 victims killed by the “Beltway Snipers” when she was shot outside a store in VA. #FBI110 ow.ly/Bnbd30l7pB9
The #FBI helped arrest "Beltway Snipers" John Allen Muhammad & Lee Boyd Malvo at a rest stop in MD, ending the 3-week, random killing spree. Muhammad was sentenced to death in 2004. Malvo received multiple life sentences w/out parole. Photo shows hole in their car trunk. #FBI110
In 2003 #FBI Ten #MostWanted Fugitive Eric Robert Rudolph was arrested in NC, accused of bombings in GA and AL including the 1996 Summer Olympics. Rudolph later told authorities where he’d stashed 250 lb of dynamite. Read more about the case here: ow.ly/a3iT30l7v6a #FBI110
