Andrea attempts to enter, gets grabbed, then shoved to the ground. All without any oral warning.
It’s 3 am, but several dozen community members are there to make sure this kid knows he’s not alone.
Andrea was then summoned back inside the ICE office and locked inside, denied first aid. 
All to deport a pregnant Honduran woman and her kid. All in the dead of night. amp.kansascity.com/news/politics-…
@CoryBooker and others advocated for the mom’s release, but to no avail.
Should we reach out to @DHSOIG @clairecmc @repcleaver to demand this officer’s immediate suspension pending an assault investigation.
But “civility”. Final thought: How do we think that 3 year-old kid is going to be treated behind those closed doors is this is how they treat his lawyer out in the open and on camera? The machinery of deportation is too often state-sanctioned violence. #FreeOurFuture
