West Midlands car workers:
“Only now have voters started to see through the initial referendum campaigns and truly understand the implications & costs of leaving the EU."
That is two ex Prime Ministers now calling for a vote on the deal.
(providing the government can agree one with itself first in order to ask the EU for one)
Paul Mason thinks that a sensible option would be a Norway / EFTA type #Brexit and then put that to the people with a #PeoplesVote
With the options being the Norway deal or remain.
At the very least, the UK must have EFTA + #CustomsUnion, otherwise we might as well all pack up and move to the #EU27, because it will trash business.
Perspective Labour MP for Shrewsbury, Dr Davies will support a #PeoplesVote
Thank you Laura 👍
I would vote for Laura if I lived in Shrewsbury and so should everyone else who does not support a dangerous and economically damaging WTO or #NoDeal#Brexit
SMEs are going to be badly affected by #Brexit, especially ones that deal with regulation, exports that involve the #EU, trade deals through the #EU or WTO rules. #Brexit is turning into a nightmare for business. 😧
#FBPE is on the same side as:
TUC
Unite, GMB & Community Unions
CBI, IoD, FSB, BCC & EEF
Labour NW & West Midland MPs
Majority of Labour MP's
Majority of UK population
UK public
Majority of Labour members
LibDem
Green Party
NUS
On: #CustomsUnion#SingleMarket & #PeoplesVote
The transport union, TSSA:
"The left should unite now and come together to stop this Tory act of war against our class...
Supporting Tory/UKIP Brexit is unacceptable class collaboration.
Full stop.
The UK government cabinet members are currently in a row over which, non working and rejected version of the / a Customs Union to use or even if they need one.
22/ @neil_parish Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton & Honiton
You voted to remove the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights & it's
enshrined constitutional protection for:
Dignity
Freedom
Equality
Solidarity
Citizens rights
Justice
When you voted to trigger A50 you knew that the
Govt ref. leaflet sent to every household did not mention the
Good Friday Agreement & how leaving the EU will impact it.
Why did you vote to trigger A50?
Ken Clarke MP didn't.
When you voted to trigger A50
you knew that regulatory alignment would be required for
Northern Ireland, as highlighted by the phase 1 report from 2017,
requiring both the SM & CU.
Does it not make sense to stay in the CU & SM?
