It’s been years since the ACLU MA told me it wasn’t safe for me to wear headphones in public. That’s not a basic thing I can safely do anymore.

Nia’s poor father. Black parents like all parents put all of this effort into their kids and society just snatches them up and swallows them.
White parents of Black children: stop pretending that because you stupidly believe your kid is half white (that’s not how white supremacy works btw) that your kid will be exempt from this violence
Transferring white privilege to your kids isn’t an act of love, it’s an act of violence and if your kids aren’t white it won’t work
